Not sure how to add to the list.
Just send my I-751 off on 24 May.

Congrats!
I believe i met you on your 1st interview 1st March! I was first in line for CR-1 interview.

That's a lot you are submitting.
For i-130, we only submitted:

Well, unfortunately, my signed G-325A form is with my husband in New York right now! I filled in my chinese name in the native non-roman characters field without giving it a second thought. Wasn't until we were reviewing all our forms that we noticed the oversight. Would hate to have to wait for me to send him another one.
We spent hours last night debating if we could interpret the instructions to fit the erroneous answer, but to no avail. Hopefully it won't be too much of a problem.
Right now, we're thinking of just leaving the G-325A it as it is and submitting the I-130 with "none" in the non-roman field and including an addendum with the I-130, signed by him, to explain the discrepancy between the two forms.. probably something along the lines of "my wife is an idiot".
I think the chinese name should be fine since it's on your birth cerf and theoretically it's your native name. Or just send him a revised I-130 asap. A 2 weeks delay is better than getting an RFE.

Glad to know that it's a short wait once the DS-230 gets going.
I guess the NVC website must be outdated or something because it says the police cert will be sent to the authority that is requesting it! I wonder if they will accept my application if I bring a copy of the NOA2 confirmation + a print out of the checklist. Otherwise, I guess asking the NVC for some kind of official document is the way to go.
One other thing my husband and I are confused over is the "if your native alphabet is other than roman letters" portion of the G-325A and I-130 forms. I wonder if you faced the same problem and can advise us. Should I fill in my chinese name since I have one that is reflected on my Birth cert and NRIC, even though the primary form of official communication here is English?
If so, what should I fill in for the address in native alphabet blank? Should I just state "All addresses in singapore are in english"?
Thanks for responding to my posts. Your replies have been most helpful.
No problem!
For I-130, my husband wrote none. For my G-325A, i wrote n/a. I did not write my chinese characters in any of the forms. I wrote my chinese name in roman letters under " All other names used."

Nice! All the best! Hope it's quick and easy.
If you have the information handy, how long did it take to get from mailing out the DS-230 packet to getting the interview date in your case?
Also, I've been wondering which stage in the process to apply for the police certificate in Singapore. It's my understanding that they will send the police cert to the embassy directly, so should I wait till just before the interview date to do it (maybe 2 weeks prior?) or should I try to get it done immediately after sending in the DS-230? Would be great if you could share your experience!
Thank you, and sorry if I'm asking too many questions!
My husband mailed DS-230 out via priority mail. Exactly one month later, we were notified of the interview date scheduled 2 weeks later. I didn't expect it to be that quick but yea! Haha.
You have to send in the police certificate with DS-230. I applied after getting NOA2, takes about 2 weeks to receive the certificate. We were slow in all the processes; getting the documents and held back by the holiday season.
To get the police cerf @singapore side, they require you to show an official document requesting for it. You probably need to ask NVC for one. I saw the lady rejecting several applicants. Fortunately for me, I printed out the checklist from the web(she said no to this) and a stack of emails from NVC(no mention of the need for police certificate). She glanced through the emails and i explained to her the link between the emails and the checklist. Reluctantly, she processed my application.
Good luck with the I-130! After this long wait, everything else will move fast!

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! By the way, which stage are you guys at in your petition/application?
Final stage! Interview at the embassy in 2 weeks time.

We submitted marriage cerf, 3 affidavits and some pictures.
It was enough for them.
