      He just got here last night .. short trip this time but he will be back for the holidays in 2 weeks again, so I can't cmplain too much :)

    4 more days til interview! Planning to leave for Montreal early Saturday morning to try to avoid the hurricane that's supposed to hit NY on Sunday! :(

    And the verdict .. we were APPROVED! First ones in line and first ones out the door by 9am! I am the happiest girl in the world today! :D

      Good! Yes, the interview checklist says they are good for a year from the date of visa appointment/interview.

      I started filling out the paperwork .. and pulling together some photos, itineraries, etc. And the best part .. we went ring shopping :)

    Call DOS and as soon as they tell you Packet 4 has been mailed out, you can go on the CSC site and schedule your own interview. You dont have to wait to actually receive the the letter. Take the first date available (if there are any). Then you can go back and click "reschedule appointment" to see if anything earlier pops up. Just keep doing that! We changed October 31st to Aug...

    Called DOS, visa issued on 8/30 .. but still waiting for DHL notification. Hoping to have it this week! :)
