Has anyone had to deal with police certificate from Israel? I am struggling...HELP

Yup..i just got another checklist because i had to fill the ds-260. It would have been nice to know after they sent me my first checklist.....

Yes i have. actually went to the embassy to apply for it. i guess it will be sent directly to the US embassy. They told me it takes 6 weeks. well six weeks just passed and Nothing. I was just hoping to see that the NVC will not RFE me because of it thats why i was looking for someone who has gone through the process.....thanks tho

Maybe I should do the same...It doesn't hurt no? I've been reading cases. I guess it takes them about 10 days to give you the Ds 3020 after they assign the case number....i'm thinking its anytime soon...

So we just found out that we do not qualify for the MEP OPT IN option. Thats good to know. So now we await the Ds-3032 email. I'm sure i should be getting that, this coming week. I can still e-mail the DS-3032 right?

WELL my friends...Good news. Our case has been upgraded to immediate Relative as of the 4th of October. She just got the letter as i called her. She tried calling NVC to see about the MEP OPT In but they kept dropping her calls so she'll call later. I'm surprised they did not email us to tell us the case was upgraded after giving them our e-mails....are they going to do the same with the MEP opt in? I'm so happy...things are looking up!! Can't wait to start this process

NO. nothing is filled yet. I'm just telling you that my wife and mother in law have filled the application form for the 1-864. right now, they are just waiting for the NVC to ask for it then my wife just mails it overnight. So my timeline is correct, nothing has been sent or received. The only thing i know is they sent my wife a letter on the 27th of September saying our upgrade request is under process. My question now with this "MEP" how does it work? When they ask for the I-864 for example, how do i send those multipages electronically? Do you get my drift? I mean if this is done electronically does that mean, my wife and mother in law scan every page to be sent?

I meant filled as in what you do to complete an application and not filed - to submit a document....am i clear? thanks for your help...my wife is in class till late when she comes, i'll ask her to call...but i want to get all info before i confuse her...

Yes my NVC case number starts with CDJ....let me read further...now changing it to this MEP number will it take more time or is this process even faster?

yes i'm very sure....she received the hard copy by mail saying our inquiry is under review....I know they've had the upgrade letter at least 2 weeks now from today. I am a 100% positive its with the NVC...thats why i posted to see if anyone out there has been through the same thing so i can get an idea......I'm going to look more into this electronic processing.......

Also remember guys....I am still in the F2 catergory meaning a numerical limit. Until they upgrade me to immediate relative, i can't receive anything yet. I still have to kinda wait for my priority date...thats why the upgrade is necessary....Hope i'm a bit clear

OH yeah she has....She did that as soon as we were givein the NVC Case number. OH yeah i made sure she gave us the emails!!!! We did this on the 27th When she sent upgrade letter on the 17th of September.

I wish i Knew...i guess i have to wait for the upgrade first, then the dS3032...I'm ready for everything but i'm waiting for them to email me that the ugrade is comeplete. my wife got her citizenship after our I-130 was approved...I wished she got it before because it takes about 2 weeks for the USCIS to upgrade...........Just waiting for the NVC Upgrade thats why i was asking if anyone has been through the same thing......

Hey all!!! My wife sent her upgrade letter on the 17th of September. NVC send us our case number on the 25th of november. I am wondering how long it takes NVC to upgrade petition from f2 to cr-1?? Thanks for any answers...I want to start the process already!
