We have received everything now, we had our interview in mid January then after that we had the green card in just two weeks. I haven't update my timeline in a long time but we are done for about a 1 1/2 year Ours was also transferred out to California. So has he received his advance parole or work authorization?

we did the ssn right away, he has it and he is allowed to work with that and the i-94 and and a piece of paper stating k-1 visa's are allowed to work. email me if you have any questions. ashleyc@aspencl.com

yes there are several police reports, the ones he needs are Carichi Pendenti and the Casellare Giudiziario Generale. yeah he has to go over there and get finger printed. He can take bus C18 to get there, it doesn't take long to get there. I hope everything goes well for you! Please keep me posted!!

We got the visa that day. you have to wait until 5pm for the visa or u can choose to have it mailed to you. My fiance waited until 5 and it was not ready so he had to come back the next day at 5 to pick it up! He will be here Tuesday the 28TH!!!! Just be prepared with all the docs and he will be fine! Make sure he has the correct police report or they will deny him. Best...

If I remember correctly the only part on the medical forms that they want you to do in advance is the History. And I believe the doc just does it from there. After the medical appointment your fiance needs to head over to the consulate (which we had no clue about) it was not in the instructions anywhere, and thankfully my fiance happened to be talking to some1 who told him that.

Keep your head up!! If you follow the vj tips for filing you will hear from the USCIS in no time!! Wow it really went by faster than I thought it would. The first month after I filed, I was so lonely and thought I would never hear back lol God is amazing!!
