  1. i believe your pick up day is on friday...ok , when you get there they let all of you sit in the open after u clear security,ie the chairs on the right. an embassy guy will come and brief you on ur visa, the do's n donts and then you go in to wait for you name to be called for the visa. its gona take time , maybe 3-5 hrs before you may be called. now on that day, they may have a list and come to call the name on that list.if ur name is on that list, it means you have a problem with the application and that you will have to come the following week for your visa or you dont qualify for the visa at all, aint that weird? after going through everything they tell you that. when i was there i saw some people being made to go back and come the next friday, and a girl who was told that her priority date is not yet so go and check online when her date is priority then she can come back for her visa...that was very wierd and they made me and some other people wait for like 5 hrs before they came up with the visa for us and it was printed in the same day..but hey your could be different. wish u all the best.

  2. I would not advice her leaving the USA 4 any holiday anywhere. She can wait while you file the 601 and hopefully it will be approved. Cos if she leaves shes will not be allowed in at the POE, and in that case she will be removed and sent back to china. If that happens even if the waiver is approved it will have to be sent back to the embassy and probabily be called back for an interview. Thats some long process there. The holiday can wait, just file the waiver and if you want seek a congressional enquiry as to why they refused and if that had any new findings or evidence. Wish you all the best.

  3. ok so how does he go about that?

how does he go about that?

If indeed he wants to buy heavy machinery then he should have a company or a contact from where he wants to buy the machine or equipment, he can then make a deposit and hv the slips as proof at his interview and/or have the company or contact send him a formal invitation from the company asking him to come visit for business. Then at his interview he will show his business documents and all the above and the CO will determine whether he is elgible for a visa. if u give him a letter to invite him u will also hv to add some of ur personal documents to really prove that u r actually the one that sent him the invitation, which i believe will entitle him to a tourist visa not a business visa. So he will hv to decide whether he is coming for a tourist visa or business visa. in my opinion it will not hv any effect on the k1 if u decide to invite him to the states, but he stands 98 percent chance of being refused cos u cant invite him for the purpose of doing business, its up to the business entity in the states to do that, but on the other hand if hes there for tourism then u can do that. in my personal opinion, u don hv the relevant relationship with him to invite him, ur fiance is not even approved yet so i dont think there's a relationship. im nt an immigration expert so u can seek advice elsewhere. wish u all the best

  4. Go ahead and report to the police, something might have happened to her. Check if shes still working or not, and oh go to homelans security or any uscis office and report visa fraud so she cannot change her status after the first 2 yrs of her temporary green card, n if shes got the green card still report her to uscis so she cannot be citizen or renew her green card....this is a case of visa fraud....it makes things difficult for us who are genuine to get visas to be with our loved ones

  5. I agree totally with u on the delay at the consulate in Accra. I was there on 3 occasions. After my first interview i was told to come back after 3 months cos of AP. Then i go back after 2 months and i was told to get additional evidence, most of which i presented in my first interview, n the annoying part is that they could have told me to bring them on the 2nd interview, all they said was AP. I went for the 3rd interview, n luckily was denied and asked to file a waiver which i did, n its been over 3 months now and no response from them.

On my visits to the embassy i saw on different occasions when a bunch of peeple's interview were rescheduled cos a consular was absent and had to leave Ghana for the US on emergency notice, which suppose that the stuff is inadequate( in my opinion). I im totally for the facebook course and call me in...I think we can call the page US Embassy(Accra) Delay in Immigrant Visa Interviews....Hope to hear from you n let me know when u come up with a new name and when u open the facebook account.

  6. this is for my ghana peeps. i was in ghana back in june and i wanna go again in november. do i need to buy another visa? or can i reuse that one. comments would help me thanksssssssss.

First of all you have to look at the expiry date of your visa if its still valied, secondly check whether the visa was for single entry or multiple entry, if it was single, no matter when it expires once you use it for the first time that is it,but if its multiple entry and its not expired then you are good to go... wish u all the best in your trip...
