    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
For my husband's AOS interview, we wore our wedding bands and brought with us:

The AOS and EAD NOAs with biometrics stamps on them
    Vaccination supplement
    My passport/his passport
    Marriage certificate
    My birth certificate/his birth certificate
    Police records
    Military records
Marriage certificate and divorce decree from husband's first marriage
Birth certificates for husband's children from first marriage (they have been known to ask for these)
    I-864 (a new one, notarized)
IRS transcripts for past 3 years filed
    Employer letter
Paystubs (on them, I highlighted the 'married' status for withholding taxes)
Letters of reference from family/friends stating we live together as husband & wife, they've been to our house for holidays, etc. (these were important as we didn't have much in joint name)
Phone bill in husband's name (they wouldn't put 2 names on the account)
Proof that husband was added to my health insurance
Proof that husband is the beneficiary of my pension
Copy of W4 changing my status from single to married
    Receipt from wedding reception
    Wedding album
Pictures of us with my family, friends, and his daughters visiting us from England
Frequent flyer accounts addressed to us in US for husband's children who live in UK
Christmas cards, wedding invitations, etc. with envelopes addressed to both of us

    * We didn't have these in joint name yet but if you do, bring:
    - credit card statements
    - mortgage or lease
    - bank account statements
    - life insurance policies with spouse as beneficiary

*Remember, bring copies of everything, including both of your passports - all pages.

(note: they may take a couple of your original photos to add to your file)

Happy are those who dream dreams & are willing to pay the price to see them come true.
