Now I am starting to get worried. I am pretty sure that I was approved after the interview on Nov. 8th 2011 but I didn't receive any notification from the USCIS. Should I wait little more or should I contact them and ask? Wow, this whole thing is making me insane.

I had an interview today and OH BOY! the officer who interviewed me was mean. I tried to be nice and polite but at the end I had it enough. I felt like I was accused by him. Is that normal? At first he asked questions about my ex-husband. Weird that I couldn't remember his birthday and our previous address. He also asked regarding the money, such as "did you offer him the money in order to get the green card?" "Did he ask for money?" " why did he transfer the money to his account before he left you?" Where did you get all the money? "So that means you paid him so you can obtain your green card?" blah blah..blah...The most unbearable question he asked me was why we ended up being divorced. And of course I started to cry and told him that he wants to find his identity and he asked why can't he do it with me. I said I asked the same question and I would love to hear an answer from him. He also said I looked nervous when we talk about the money issue and this was my last chance to be honest. If I don't tell him the truth i could lose my green card and might end up in jail or deported. Doesn't that sound like a threat? I told him I had a great job back in my country and made good money but the reason I am here is to be with my husband but unfortunately he is not here today. There's not much you can do about it when your partner doesn't appreciate you anymore. Also added that if my goal was to get that card why did I even attempt to commit suicide after he left? Did you check that part? SILENT MOMENT..He said he was sorry to hear that and asked me if i was okay now and he said I would get my green card within two weeks. It was a very overwhelming moment for sure and hopefully I don't have to deal with all these ####### again in future.
If you have an interview, be sure to check everything and be ready for it. Because I thought all the documents I sent was pretty relevant and I was confident enough to answer all the questions but obviously I didn't realize that they can play a mind trick.
Hope my interview review helped. I am certain that there are much nicer and gentle officers there but I wasn't lucky today.

I have an interview on November 8th. I was hoping they would send the card without the interview but this might be better for me. Wish me luck.

JimVaPhuong, No I am not from Philipines. Why do you ask?

Thank you Vanessa&Tony. I'll keep that in my mind. Yeah I am trying to collect as many evidence as possible and file for the waiver right after I get the divorce decree. I am gonna check with my lawyer next week and start the divorce.

Once again thank you for your reply, Okalian.
My card expires August 4th 2011 so I'll wait since I have some time.
If it wasn't for VJ and people like you I would've completely lost if. GOD BLESS YOU!!

Thank you Okalian for your reply.
Btw, I am a huge fan of yours.
I read most of your posts and it helped me alot. I bet many people with similar situation feel the same way. Thank you.
Since he was a student last year, we don't have like joint life insurance, joint credit card.
All I have are as follows:
- Apartment lease with both of our signiture on it
- Joint bank account statements
- Joint saving account statements
- Joint car insurance statement
- Jointly filed Federal Income Tax Statements for the years 2009
- Electricity bills with my name, Comcast bills with his name( Same address)
- Cellphone statements (we are under his parents family plan)
- Affidavit letter from my counselor
- Affidavit letter from in-laws
- Affidavit letter from friends (planning to get as many as possible)
- Affidavit letter from my husband (indicating that it's not my fault)
- Plane ticket itinerary
- Photocopy of passport indcating that we travelled together
- Pictures of our lives together
Would that be enough? Is there any thing else I need to prepare?
Since we moved from one State to another, I couldn't pack all our things including letters and documents so I had to discard them which was stupid thing to do.
P.S : Would it save my time if I file for the I-751 once I get the divorce complaint (btw, what is this?) and submit the divorce decree later on when the divorce is final? It only takes 90days + for me to get divorce here in this State.

Sorry I don't have any knowledge on this.
BTW, how did you get your green card without a divorce decree? Is that possible?

Hello,
I will be filling for the I-751 waiver to remove my conditional permanent resident probably next year once our divorce is complete.
I was wondering if it would affect filing for the I-751 waiver if I am the one who files for the divorce. (I don’t want USCIS to get the wrong idea that I am the one who broke the marriage which is not true.) Does the divorce decree indicates the petitioner? Would that affect obtaining permanent green card?
My husband (US Citizen) is in overseas and figured it might be better and faster for me to file it and send it to him since I am in the States. And also, at least I would feel better since I'll have some kind of control over something.
Any advice would appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Thank you charles for your help.
Before I file for the divorce I am trying to make sure that I have enough evidence so I can file I-751 myself. I am trying to collect as much as I can to prove that our marriage was in good faith but I feel i don't have enough. Since we moved back home after his school we discarded most of our mails including bank statement, electricity bills, internet bills, letters from relatives etc.. I only have several bills that indicates our previous address. We do have joint bank account, joint car insurance, and joint apartment lease. I don't remember signing my signiture when he did tax return this year but I did see that he put my name as a spouse. He only had student health insurance so I don't have an insurance. We have a joint costco membership though, would that count? and also our cell phone was under his parents phone plans and I wonder that would work too.
What else do I need to prepare?
What would I do without visajourny.
Thank you all for you help.

One more question.
Is it possible to get divorce in WA. State eventhough we got married in another country?
-
thank u so much for your help guys. I sent an e-mail to my husband last week but haven't received any reply. I guess my time is ticking so I better act fast. I have no time to mourn and sob. I might have some issues with collecting mails to prove bonefide marriege since we discarded most of our mails when we moved back here. I might be able to find an apartment contract with his and mine name on it, car insurance, and pics of us and wedding ceremony, letters etc. Would it be helpful if my in-laws write something about us and notorize it? or would just signiture be fine? I can't believe what I am going through is real.

sorry August 4th 2011.
If i do start filing for divorce how long do u think it'll take?

I met my soon to be ex at the Conference in Seattle and we immediately fell in love. Despite the long distance relationship (we replaced 4 webcam and 11 headsets) we got married in Jan. 2009. Last year August, Me and him (US citizen) moved to Washington State with CR1 and received a conditional green card. We had a wedding ceremony with our families and friends and moved to Vermont due to his graduate school. While we were in Vermont we were good and had no problem, at least from my side of view but one day out of the blue he decided and told me that he wants to find his identity and wants to be single again so he no longer wants this marriage. After completing his school, we moved back to WA in June to his parents place and few days later I accidently saw his email and found that he’s been e-mailing back and forth with one of his ex-girlfriends and we had a huge fight making a big hole on the wall and he moved out. I kind of get the feeling that he did it intentionally because he transferred some amount of money from our joint account to his own account so he can move out. We had a family meeting with him and asked what I have done but he said it wasn’t my fault. We tried several counseling but didn't seem to work and now he is gone to Japan to teach English. All his families think that he is going through a depression which runs in the family and he is just running away from everything but he denies it and wouldn't get in treatment. He told me that since he's the one who's breaking the marriage, he's willing to help me get the permanent green card so I can stay here but I don't know how he is going to. Currently I am with his parents and will start a new job soon. What can he do to help me obtain the Card? Is getting a divorce and file for the waiver myself is the best solution? I do want to save this marriage if possible. My conditional green card expires in August 4th 2010. Thank you so much for your time and I am looking forward to get some suggestions soon.
