  1. I read it. I dont trust the privact settings. This is big brother. He can get around privacy settings and passwords. We have given him ultimate authority in the name of national security. I will be surprised if Big brother can't restore what I have deleted, if he really wants to.

why did u delete ur facebook profile? is ur immigration case not real but fraud? if u are real and ur petition is real that u really want to live there with ur family? then what that have to do with facebook?

  2. So Tanya and I are down to one week until her interview, but she has not received her up to date police report. She has one that is about 9 months old, and requested the newest one 2 months ago, and the report has not arrived yet. This is the only document we are missing, and this is really out of our hand. Not really sure why this is taking so long, but what can we do? Should she still go to the interview even though we are missing this document? Everything else is in order, and ready for the interview. We thought about trying to reschedule, but at this point in the game would she be waiting another couple months for an interview? I have a feeling this would be the case. Let me know any advice, or experience you all have with this. thanks.

if u dont take the pcc report immigartion officer will give a 221(g) for the pcc report..

by the way what is the most validation for your police report in your consular where u gonna be interview?

i m saying cause as u said ur pcc report the one have is 9months old so some country accepts till 1 year old pcc and if it passed 1 year the pcc is not valid and some country does accepts only 6 months old pcc and if it pass the 6 months the pcc is not valid..so do some search or you call your local us embassy where u will be interview to know validation of pcc

  3. You have TWELVE months. Anything under 365 days.

** moved from "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" to " Working & Traveling During US Immigration" as this is relating to travel outside the US**

I don't know where you got your information but you're wrong.

An LPR can stay outside the US for less than 12 months. After 6 months her naturalisation clock is paused, after 12 months it's reset to 0.

The LPR can stay outside the US for MORE than 12 months if they obtain a re-entry permit.

Please check your facts before writing incorrect advice. It is very confusing for new-comers.

**Edit - any time after 6 months can be used by CBP to determine whether they think you've abandoned your status. Anything under 6 months cannot be used. You can still stay out longer than 6 months, but there are things to maintain your status.

In order to be safe (and for naturalization reasons) it's best to not exceed 6 months, but nothing says you can't.

    maybe u r ryt

but the fact is i saw many many post regarding this that if u want to stay more than 6 months u need permission and if u come back within 6 months its ok.. thats way i said...

  4. She already has a visa. she needed a visa to enter the country. A greencard is permission to remain in the country by virtue of legal permanent resident status.

You said she should leave her VISA for someone else.. or something like that... honestly your post didn't make the most sense. I simply pointed out that it's HER greencard because she's already paid for it. So your post that if "she doesn't get her visa someone else can" is completely irrelevant because a. she has her visa already, b. it's not a visa she's applying for, it's a greencard and c. she's already paid for it so she may as well go collect it

**Edit - also, not all visas lead to greencards

ok sorry my bad.. thanx for correcting me.. i thought she was on her first interview stage..

  5. I finally got the interview scheduled at the end of the month, BUT my wife and I recently decided to move back to Norway instead of staying here in US (job market is terrible!). Should we still go to the interview, pretending like we're still planning to stay here? We've spent the money and time on going through the whole process, so I'm sort of thinking that it would be worth it to go through with the interview as well. But in the other hand, what's the point if we're moving anyways, and will stay out of the country long enough for the GC to expire? Any thoughts?? Appreciate any input!

if u dont want to live there dont waste the visa cause if u dont use it someone will might get the visa u were able to get that person might be needed badly that visa so without wasting the visa help otehrs and tell others to help others..

  7. HI, guys i m new to this forum and i m sorry if i did any mistake.

i have a question i hope some one could let me know.

let me tell u about my process- i m 19 years old petitioned by LPR father

already had interview got 221(g) cause are down below.

the question is= i had my interview on the beginning of september,

asked what is my birthdate, who petitioned for me, then asked if i had any photograph with my father i showed to the immigration officer she was satisfied with the photo's and then told me that my father dont have the sufficient income and the joint sponsor my father provided unfortunately he was denied for not meeting the guide line and gave me a 221(g) and said do find a new joint sponsor and come any day when u have collected the papers.back of the 221(g) form marked with (X) in the field of new joint sponsor.and relationship letter between petitioner and jointsponsor.

1)so is it positive that if i submit the doc and if the joint sponsor meet the guide line then what are my chance of getting the visa?
