    We met july 27th 2009 on serenity beach, in D.R. We hope to start our Visa process in NOV! As of 2/2016 still married,immigrated our daughter on a K-2 and our SIL on a j visa and added another daughter.

    what are the benefits to removing conditions?

      You have to remove conditions. It's how you remain in the country permanently. On a K1 Visa you only get a 2yr "conditional". 90 days before your 2yr green card expires, you must file to remove conditions so you can get a 10yr green card. The 10yr green card can be renewed every ten years unless you decide to apply for citizenship.
