  1. Some people get right away other won't get it right away. I think it will depend on the officer if they think you deserves it right away or not, The success of the interview unfortunately determined by the Officer will affect his/her decision, Education, marital union, what you have together and if it looks like a straight and good faith marriage. those are the factor that I believe will determine the OS decision. Correct me if I am wrong.

It depends on many factors . If DO does administrative or juridical oath for the most of the times . Has nothing to do with education or what you have together .

Congratulations KY derby :) ! Your trip is almost over. When was your N400 interview btw?

Thank you . I'm so excited . Interview was on October 12 .

  2. alterego, yes I asked if my case went through final reviews or not . The last time I called the officer said that my case is now finished with all reviews , also senator confirmed that my case has been granted final approval . But when I called yesterday I heard completely different story. My case is still under review . I called court where all naturalization ceremonies take place in my district , they hold narulalization ceremonies once a month . Next ceremony is on January 11th . ( there were 3 ceremonies since I had interview ) .. I hope I hear something from them soon .

  3. alterego, I called USCIS and got to talk to tie2 officer . They didn't put in SR because it should be pass 120 days ( 2 weeks ago they said 90 days ) since the interview date . On my question about 5 months processing time and my application being passed that time they answered that it applies to from filing date to interview date , not oath scheduling . Ohh well . I'll just wait .

  4. I too had my interview on October 12th and still no sign of the Oath letter yet . I called numerous times but have been told that they can't do SR untill 90 days after my interview . We contacted two Senstors in our area , the response they received from USCIS was basically to wait . Two months of waiting for my oath , going to third month . :(

  5. Congratulations, sweeneybull :) I'm still waiting for my Oath ceremony . No word from USCIS . :( I got in contact with Senstors office and hope they will help .. Also called USCIS and been able to speak with 2tire officer, she was extremely nice and told me that my application has been granted final approval and siting on somebody desk ready to be scheduled for ceremony .. Haha..

  6. Just a little question how do you know if a USCIS office offers same day oath? Does the office in Louisville, Kentucky offers that? Thanks. I was asking just out of curiosity.

Hey there ;) No , Louisville KY doesn't do same day oath . KY divided by two districts ( eastern and western ) and every applicant has to go through judicial oath ceremony . I had my interview on October 12, was recommended for approval but didn't hear anything from USCIS since . I called Louisville court to find out when is next naturalization ceremony will be , they said it will be on December 7 th . But USCIS online status hasn't change and I highly doubt I'm on that Dec 7th list :(. When was your interview ?
