When is your oath is scheduled?
Feb. 22 at 10.30 . Are you from KY?
-
Good news for me. Oath ceremony is finally scheduled . Waiting for the letter .
-
True . I guess since USCIS has 120 days time frame to schedule for oath ceremony I can't complane for another 3 weeks..
-
I'm still waiting for my oath to be scheduled . It's been over 3 months since I had my interview and over a month since they put me in the oath scheduling que I called 1-800 number to request a service request , they told me to call in two weeks . Very frustrating :(

Congratulations , Inna.

Hello. I have a question about vaccination report . Do we need to get a vaccination report from my home country , translate it to English ( certified ) and take it to civil surgeon here in US? Or how to do it ? My mom is here in US and we are getting ready to file for adjustment of status for her. Thank you .

I haven't been asked where my husband is on my interview . I do not think it is a mandatory for a spouse to be present during the interview . Was she recommended for approval ?
-
Some people get right away other won't get it right away. I think it will depend on the officer if they think you deserves it right away or not, The success of the interview unfortunately determined by the Officer will affect his/her decision, Education, marital union, what you have together and if it looks like a straight and good faith marriage. those are the factor that I believe will determine the OS decision. Correct me if I am wrong.
It depends on many factors . If DO does administrative or juridical oath for the most of the times . Has nothing to do with education or what you have together .
Congratulations KY derby ! Your trip is almost over. When was your N400 interview btw?
Thank you . I'm so excited . Interview was on October 12 .

I also have an early Christmas gift for me , I checked the website and found out that my application is placed in the oath scheduling que . Yey. Extremely happy
-
Checked my status now and found out that my application is placed in the oath ceremony que . WOW. Can't express how happy and relieved I am .
-
Thank you , alterego I will call them in the couple of days .
-
alterego, yes I asked if my case went through final reviews or not . The last time I called the officer said that my case is now finished with all reviews , also senator confirmed that my case has been granted final approval . But when I called yesterday I heard completely different story. My case is still under review . I called court where all naturalization ceremonies take place in my district , they hold narulalization ceremonies once a month . Next ceremony is on January 11th . ( there were 3 ceremonies since I had interview ) .. I hope I hear something from them soon .
-
Grashoppr, CONGRATULATIONS!!! You've been waiting for a very long time ! What a nice Christmas gift for you !
-
alterego, I called USCIS and got to talk to tie2 officer . They didn't put in SR because it should be pass 120 days ( 2 weeks ago they said 90 days ) since the interview date . On my question about 5 months processing time and my application being passed that time they answered that it applies to from filing date to interview date , not oath scheduling . Ohh well . I'll just wait .
-
i need to ask this. what is 'si man'?
I was wondering same thing

Hi there,Just wonder if you receive oath ceremony letter yet?Louisville office seems slow on this step!Good luck to both of us:)
Hey there .. Unfortunately I am still waiting . Tomorrow is two months since I had my interview . I'll be calling tomorrow and try to get Service Request . Did your interview went well ?
-
Finally, Alhamdulillah, that service request did pay off. I received a txt stating that I have been scheduled for oath. Now, the wait begins to receive that information.
Congratulation !!! Very happy for you
-
Yes, my application was recommended for an approval.. Is your DO doing judicial oath ceremonies ?
-
I too had my interview on October 12th and still no sign of the Oath letter yet . I called numerous times but have been told that they can't do SR untill 90 days after my interview . We contacted two Senstors in our area , the response they received from USCIS was basically to wait . Two months of waiting for my oath , going to third month .
-
Im still waiting for my oath letter . It almost has been two months since I passed my interview . Senstor's office confirmed that my application has been granted final approval and is in procces of scheduling for the oath ceremony . But, man, it is a long wait ;(

Congratulations, Inna, with passing the interview .

Just a little question how do you know if a USCIS office offers same day oath? Does the office in Louisville, Kentucky offers that? Thanks. I was asking just out of curiosity.
Hey there No , Louisville KY doesn't do same day oath . KY divided by two districts ( eastern and western ) and every applicant has to go through judicial oath ceremony . I had my interview on October 12, was recommended for approval but didn't hear anything from USCIS since . I called Louisville court to find out when is next naturalization ceremony will be , they said it will be on December 7 th . But USCIS online status hasn't change and I highly doubt I'm on that Dec 7th list . When was your interview ?

US citizen as of Feb. 22 . It was great ceremony with 201 immigrants from over 50 countries . I've been waiting for 4.5 months for my oath ceremony since my interview date . Applicants in Louisville , KY be prepared for a long wait . At the end, it worth it !
