Richie, if you are reading this, take it from someone that worked in the court system with the federal government....go talk to an immigration attorney now. Be totally honest with him or her and show everything you have. This is NOT the time to do it on your own anymore.

NO... he did not leave his passport at the last interview.
-
He is British. Don't understand why they would ask for a second interview. As if this waiting game is not hard enough.... now trying to figure out why a second interview is torture.
-
Also, in the letter, it said for him to bring a photo ID; such as, a passport or driver's licence. They did not say he had to bring a passport. Any ideas out there?

My husband had his interview on November 18th at the London Embassy. He was able to do his interview, but the CO could not give an approval or denial, because the medical was still not there. My husband did his medical on November 12th. He was told once the medical came, they would let him know via email or post if he was denied or approved. Today, he received a letter from them stating they want a second interview with him on December 8th. Does anyone out there know anything about why a second interview would be needed? Thanks

Great news today! Add me and my husband to the November Interviews. We received email today for interview on November 18th!!!! I am so so happy!

I am busting at a gut! My husband got his interview email today, and it is for November 18th!!!!!! We may get lucky enough for him to fly in for Thanksgiving dinner!!!!!!!!! It is a great day!

Is it just me, or is the London US Embassy one of the slower ones to schedule a dang on interview!!!! grrrrrrr
-
Sorry to hear about the confusion with your paper work. Just keep in mind how lucky the two of you are to be together again. No more waiting to see each other. No more waiting on this process and that process before you can be united. I envy you!
-
EC - Congrats!
-
Kox - I sent a copy of mine and my husband's passport. Still waiting on the interview date. sigh Come on London US Embassy!

Filipinawife0210 - We lived in Wales all that time. I moved back this February and applied for my husband over here. There was never a K-1.

Thanks OBX. I wish everyone a speedy one as well. But, really... our's has not been speedy.

The best advice is to write your state senator's office. They will see if you fit in an expedited situations and contact the NVC. I know they don't agree to do them all, but as my husband has said, nothing ventured nothing gained. I wish everyone luck on this.

RichiJenny - Thank you for the good words. We all need to get our loved ones back with us as soon as possible. I wish all the best for all as well. Thanks again.

Not happy with some of the rude comments on here about my case. As it happens, there are other factors in our case that do qualify us for it. I am sorry if people are offended or jealous about it. We all have had to wait a long time being apart from our loved ones. Cruel comments are not the answers.

No matter. We have our SIF!!!!
-
We received SIF today!!! It is a good day for my husband and I!!! Come on interview date come soon!!!!

I brought back from the UK a hair dryer, straightener and electric razor. The straightener works great. The dryer was barely working. And, the electric razor did not even charge up enought to use! I guess it all depends on what type of electric equipment you bring over from the UK. I am keeping them for when I fly back to visit my inlaws.

All I want for Christmas is my husband as well. Did you hear that santa?
-
It is Friday again and still no word from NVC! I wish they worked on the weekends too so we can get our love ones over here with us in the states! grrrrr
-
Congrats! I am jealous though. My stuff is still there at NVC being processed. I just called and she said the AOS is almost done with review and the IV is about half way done.... sigh I just want a life with my husband again!

LisaMarie - I know exactly how you feel. I have not seen my husband since February of this year. It is torture having to wait through all of these different stages in the immigration process. Sometimes, I wish I just stayed in the UK with my husband, and told my mother to find someone else to care for my elderly grandmother. Not that I don't love her, but being apart from my husband makes me feel very incomplete.

This is a terrible story. I wish immigration had stiffer laws on people that get into America with fraudulant intentions. I think they should pick her up and send her back!
Glad to hear you are moving on. Like they say... fool me once, shame on you... fool me twice, shame on me. Good Luck!
