  1. Can I apply for a new re-entry permit for my child outside America even she still have a valid one?

She's only 2-years old, has a green card, been staying at her mother in the Philippines since June 2009 up till now, but the problem is her valid re-entry permit is going to expire at April 7, 2011. Please I need some guidance right now, cause I don't want the USCIS to think that my daughter or me has abandoned her Permanent Residency. I appreciate the help... comments...

  2. Currently, my daughter has already became a US permanent resident (green card holder) but I couldn't take care of her here in the US cause I'm working a double job so I got her back to the Philippines to her mother last August 2009 but before she went home, I requested that she have a "re-entry permit" issued by the US National Visa Center (NVC) which expires at April 7, 2011. Now my wife's priority date is current so the NVC is now processing my wife for a visa. So While paying the required IV processing fee, the NVC has invoiced me my wife (principal applicant) and also my daughter with whom that is already is a green card holder. And its a whopping $404 each, a total of $808 for two of them. I don't know why my daughter is part of that invoice in which it should only be my wife on it. Please, if anyone can help me about this question, I will appreciate it, cause I want them both come here but of course its a lot of money and if its possible that I don't have to repay that IV fee for my baby daughter.

Note: My Wife's category is F2A Philippines, TY
