  1. Hi all,

We got approved for K1-Visa and my finacee will arrive here in January.

My Question: I am moving and all the paperwork for I-129f and the Interview at the Consulate in Bogota show the old address.

I am sure the I-94 has to show the new address.

I am not sure want effect that will have at POE (CBP, DHS).

Do I have to inform anyone of the address change? like USCIS?

    What is the process here?

    Thanks

  2. At the Bogota Consulate information page (http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota):

"Visas are now being shipped to beneficiary via DHL (a courier). You select delivery point when you select interview date and pay online. Visas may NOT be picked up at the embassy. Beneficiary can stipulate delivery address and MAY be able to pick up the visa at the DHL office. Example reasons for picking up the visa at DHL include that you are staying at a hotel. Your best, safest, fastest and cheapest option is to pick up your passport at the delivery service's office in Bogota."

I dont quite understand how the pickup works: how long does it take to get the VISA from the delivery service office? Who do I contact?

    What is the alternative?

Shipping the VISA means we have to stay in Bogota after the interview to be able to get it fast, this makes it very difficult to plan anything.

What is the best way to approach this?

    Any suggestions, experience, concerns?
