Thanks for the well wishes, the date is coming really quickly, only about 3 more weeks left. I would say if you can manage it then be there, just make sure you take all the evidence, etc that you have, especially the originals from your I-864 (W2, Tax returns) if you completed one. Plu if ur already there, they cant tell him to come back with you. lol

Im madd excited u got ur date, let me know if u have any questions regarding the interview and what u should take. I have spoken with three visa and immigration agents over the last two days..

Hey Kay-Che! We are starting to like the date too, while we miss each other it seems like a good amount of time to get travel arragements, documents, and just talk over everything. I know ur gonna get ur date soon, and hopefully it will be the same date, then we can all celebrate together!! I feel 100% better than when this week started.

So i did receive an email yesterday, they gave us an interview date of June 21st 7AM. I immediately emailed them back requesting a sooner date. continued....and requested a petitioner interview. I also asked for a date in the next 1-2 weeks. I will be taking anything I can get my hands on with me. Thanks for all the support and I will keep everyone posted.. I will hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

I have to now get on a plane and go to Jamaica short notice for a "Petitioners Interview" at first we were both very upset, but have since calmed each other down. continued...they asked him where we met? when we met? when did we get married? who was at the wedding? who was with me when we met? they asked if I evered wired him money and for receipts? (he did not have any), they asked for pictures of our wedding (he had some), He also had copies of my passport stamps, phone records, etc. they did not want those items. It seems like they know exactly what..

Okay! so this is the deal. Leon went on his interview today, got their early, handed in his passport photos, medical records, and interview notice, was finger-printed and provided a number to wait. When he was called into the interview room: a white american male interviewed him. He was asked all questions about me (petitioner). Where was I born? Where do I live? Who do I live with? etc.

I'm waiting to hear back from Leon now, he had to turn in his cell phone at the embassy once he arrived. I am super excited and hope everything is fast.
