Hello, Today I went to the SS Office to update my SS Card. They made a copy of my Naturalization Certificate and went over the address and had me sign a paper saying I told the truth on my info. I was told they would hold the documents for 10 days and then they would process them. The gentleman told me it usually took DHS 10 days to have everything in the system. So it would be up to 3 weeks before receiving it. I also went to apply for a US Passport, I had filled out the application online and I printed it . I had a passport photo made at Walgreens so when I arrived it only took 10 minutes to complete. The lady there said it would be from 4 to 6 weeks to receive the passport. They attached my original Naturalization Certificate to the application. I was told that I would receive it either with the passport or it would be mailed separately back to me. Instead of going to the DMV I called and was told my license didn't need to be changed since It didn't expire until 2023, so I'm good to go on that. Thank you all

Hello everyone, I arrived at the DHS in Charlotte,NC at 12:05pm. My appointment for my Oath Ceremony was scheduled for 12:30 pm. Hello everyone, I had my interview at the Charlotte, NC location today. I was scheduled for 8:25am. When I arrived I went through check in with my appointment letter and green card, then I was ask to remove my belt, watch, shoes etc.. I then went to the check in window and was given a number. I waited about 30 minutes before being called back. The officer started a conversation with me and then went directly to the questions. I was ask six questions: who was the first President of the Us? - Who is the Governor of NC? - Name one of NC's Senators? - Name two National US Holidays? - Name one right only for US Citizens? - What movement tried to end racial discrimination? Then I was ask to read: In what month is President's Day in? I had to write the answer: February. Then we went over the yes and no questions on the N400. I passed all and I was ask if I could come tomorrow for the Oath Ceremony? I said yes So tomorrow it's back to Charlotte. I'm so happy this long journey from the K1 visa to Citizenship is almost over. Thanks to everyone here at VJ for all your help through the years

Received an email and text saying I was put in line for an interview 01-15-2016...That was fast! Thanks

Biometrics completed today 01/13 at the Charlotte, N.C. ASC. The appointment was for 11:00am. I presented my Biometrics appointment letter and my GC at the front guard desk. I was given the "Learn About the United States" packet and a paper to fill out with ( Name, DOB, Race, Weight, Height, A#, Application# and All names used ). I gave the paper to the receptionist after filling it out then sat down to wait for my number to show on the nice red digital screen. My number came up in about 10mins. My photo was taken and my fingerprints done, I signed the electronic screen. I was given my Biometrics letter back Stamped and Dated. I filled out the "How did we do card" and dropped it in the little box and I left at 11:25am. All went smooth

Case was sent to Jerusalem consulate on December 28th, and I can't find it on DHL's website. As a matter of fact, I tried changing the dates to other dates in December and I'm not seeing any results for Israel.

Hello, I tried all the month of December 2015 and I found nothing for Israel. Using these EXP 01 DEC 2015A (OR) EXP 01 DEC 2015B -- I started with Dec 1 working through to the 31st. Sorry I couldn't locate it.
