      It's a long drive from Grand Rapids, MI -- about 600 miles, thanks to Lake Michigan (although it would still be a long drive without the lake). :-)

    Thank God I was approved! but my experience at embassy wasn't good, but what is matter most is they approved me..Thank God for that=)

    UK VJ's do i need to show the original Tax document from my petitioner? do they need the original one?

      It's impossible to have an original tax document -- the original is submitted to the US government (IRS) and not returned. All he'll have is a copy. :-)

    Please help from UK VJs, do u think its a good idea to call and ask for interview schedule? my medical is on may 23, and maybe i can have my interview on the 1st week of June...

      I'm not an expert by any means. In our experience, my fiancee paid over the phone at the same time she called to make sure they had received our materials. But you can send the check with Packet 3 or you can bring payment with you to the interview. It doesn't have to be paid ahead of time. Good luck! :-)

      We got ours for 18 May. The embassy apparently set the date on 18 April (date on the letter( but didn't post it until 20 April, and we just got the letter yesterday. Should be soon for you! :-)
