  1. I just got the TXT/Email of my wife's case being in production.

Either way, I believe the first e-mail is just telling you that USCIS has ordered the production of your EAD/AP card, while the e-mail you recieved Today is basically saying the official Notice of Approval for the EAD/AP has been mailed to your house.

I think i read somewhere that someone got their Notice of Approval and EAD/AP in the mail the same day.

Ok, just i want to be sure everything go well, is good to know for other people experience, thank you

  2. But I have not received the EAD yet. Is the EAD supposed to come first before the interview, isn't it? The send me two email,

Monday ---- Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production On October 24, 2011, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Other email today 26, Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity On October 25, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

Has anybody in here have the same experience? I am confuse  This is normal?

  3. Friends, we got our NOA in the mail, along with the bio appointment :-) It came as a surprise because they never sent me a text or an email! :-) Thank You Lord!

I have a few questions though, I tried to check my case status using the receipt number in the NOAs (AOS, EAD or AP), but it doesn't show up! Mine starts with MSC, any of you guys encounter this too? I tried to call USCIS 1 800 375 5283, but there are a lot of options in there and I can't seem to press the right options to speak to a representative...

Any input would be appreciated! Thank you! :)

Honey&Bee, the same happens to me, so don't worry in 24 hours o less you can see you case in the web

  4. Hi to all again. After 10 days, we finally got an email and text notification yesterday that our USCIS application has been received and routed to National Benefit Center. :D

    Thank you Lord!

We are happy too, we are in the same boat, so will see how long take the next step, we put things in God's hands we can enter into His rest, live in His peace, receive His joy and He is able to settle things both inside us and outside of us :)

  6. Hello all -- It's been a while.

We're getting married in Hawaii early August and we just found out that it might take four to six weeks (not a week as we originally thought) before we can get the certified true copy of the marriage certificate needed for the Adjustment of Status application. I would have been in the States for 60+ days by that time and we would certainly exceed the 90-day stipulation for marriage in the K-1 visa by the time we get the certificate.

Will this be a major problem in the AOS application? Does anyone here have any similar experiences with the Hawaiian authorities that you can share? Is it still possible to expedite getting the certificate there so we can file for AOS within 90 days? As a backup, we might just go to Vegas or another place which can issue us the certificate way faster. So much for my dream of a nice beach wedding....

Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Grace

    Hi,

  7. We applied after because its one less name change on a document to do, then I could get my DL in my married name too without having to change that one as well because they would of only issued it in the maiden name on the SSN card.

    Hi,

How long took you to receive your SSN After married? We are planning to get married on 2 week so I been reading is better to apply for the SSN on the K1 because is more faster, So I don't know what to do :(
