interview went well just nerve wracking on my end... approved just waiting on the mail with the visa / passport.

you should be getting a notification from the US consulate in Australia soon with the packet 3 instructions... look on the forums to see what Packet 3 consists of the more prepared you are the faster it will be.

Yes I got a Colorado police record on line for $7 Ihttps://www.cbirecordscheck.com/Index.aspx) I am sure in the state of california you can do the same.. he / she will have to get the Australian finger print report that is like $175 and takes 10 days to mail... this would be in packet 3. I would do it after your noa 2 about 5- 10 days after since it takes so long in OZ!

what was your RFE? I am going to Sydney for the month of november and am hoping we will get approved soon! this is crazy!

Here is hoping that we get the CSC to approve our visa this week! Nearing the 5 month mark!

Keep up the smile and know that there are alot of us in the same boat with you! IT sucks and I am right there with you. I am lucky that my company is letting me work from the Sydney office and get to go for about a month while we have so much uncertainty of when the CSC will get off their #######!
