Hi Igor! Its been a very long time. Hope all is well. Life has been busy and now we are getting ready for ROC. How is the process for you? We have most of the documents, we are just missing a few things.

Likewise Mehmet! I have been following infrequently but know you are working on ROC. Good luck. Things are going well with Lena and me. She found a job in a Russian Kindergarten shortly after her arrival in 2011. It keeps her busy, even though she constantly cleans (you know what I mean). Issue the visa because their passports were renewed. They are both Ukrainians so I don't know if that makes a difference. Our case may be different because one of us is American. Lets just hope. Prague may also have strict rules regarding renewals.

Igor & Lena, Congrats! Sorry I have been away, but we have busy since June 2nd, Elena and Antons arrival. We were married on the 7th of June and now we are working on AOS etc. We wish Lena a comfortable trip to her new home. Our best wishes.

Igor, I believe Elena did bring her original copies of her documents with translation and notary stamps. I wonder what others did? You may want to ask this question in the embassy forum. I don't want to guess and give you bad information. All is good on our side, just waiting for the 2nd

I was not with them for the interview. Elena and Anton did very well. They will be flying on 2nd June. They are flying on BA. Our tickets were approximately $900 each, $1800 for two.

Did the embassy return the passport with visa? Elena received hers today. However a corner was cut off. The documents are ok, not cut. I was wondering if you received the same.

I have a few more things I need to send Elena, like recent skype, phone call history and such. I only wonder about the payment for the visa and medical. I brought Elena money from the states on my last visit for the interview. I remember having problems exchanging money in Ukraine. I wonder if she will have this problem at the Embassy. I mean, does the money have to be in perfect condition?

Well, Elena just called and made her appointment. She will be at the Embassy on the 6th!

Did Lena receive the packet from Kyiv today. I just spoke with my Elena and she found this wonderful surprise in her mail box. She will call tomorrow morning for an appointment.
