Just got the call from my fiance and she just got out of her interview at the Bangkok embassy. Her visa has been approved!!!! :dance: Thanks everyone for your help! I am still going to need everyone's help during the AOS. She should be in LA on 30 April. We can't wait.

Ok, so the interview is tomorrow. We were wandering how long does it take for the embassy in Bangkok to have the visa ready for pick up from the time of the interview. Thanks.

Our interview was April 5.They said to pick up the visa 8 April, but we received a call from the Embassy the day after,that our visa is ready to pick up on the 7th.

SHE ASKED ME FIRST, IF MY FIANCE SPEEK THAI. I SAY NO.BECAUSE OF THAT THE INTERVIEW MUST BE IN ENGLISH. THEN SHE ASKED ME WHAT IS HIS NAME AND MINE, AND HOW OLD IS HE AND ME.WHERE WE MET,AND WHEN WE SEE EACH OTHER FOR FIRST TIME.IF HE WAS MARRIED BEFORE, AND WHAT HAPPEN WITH HIS MARRIAGE. IF HE HAVE CHILDREN, HOW MANY AND THE AGES, AND IF THEY LIVE WITH HIM.IF HE MET MY FAMILY. WHAT IS HIS AND MY JOB.SHE ASKED ME HOW MANY LANGUAGES MY FIANCE SPEEK. SHE LOOK AT OUR PHOTOS, SHE SMILE TO ME..........AND SAID CONGRATULATION, YOU ARE APPROVED. COME APRIL 8 TO PICK UP YOUR VISA.

WE ARE GOING TO NEW YORK AT 13 OF APRIL.

congrats,it took a lot of time almost 6+ months..did you forget to send some documentation with the application and did you get any RFE's in between?

I had RFE on January 6 for a Yes Or No question.

Call them? Talk to an ISO? Contact your congress or senator persons?

Why would you just sit and let your petition fall backwards.

Most people that were approved lately was BECAUSE they kept calling after the 5 month period.

Yes i did all these many times.But nothing.6 months and 12 days now.

What is happening now with the 47 VSC and 35 CSC July fillers in VJ left back?

As you can see,only August and after are being approved. There is nothing for July.

Is this punishment because we complained after our 5 months passed?

What do we do now? Sit back and wait until VSC and CSC deside we have enough punishment?

Yes, they said they are working on cases from July 24th, but the week before they said they were working on August 6 cases. Since everything is so insecure, I'm trying to be optimistic

Just take a look on my timeline.Then you get a good picture of VSC.

NOA1...7-12

RFE....1-06 After 173 days for a Yes or No question.

VSC received my respond 1-14

They said i must hear something from VSC in the next 60 days.If not i must call them.That time i mark the 241 st day since NOA1.

If you don't get your NOA2 by May 2011, i like see how you think and how you feel about VSC. But i wish you get it tomorrow. Good luck.

Does anyone know when the Thai Police Certificate expires? Was issued March 2010. Thank you.

If it was a simple RFE then it usually gets started straight away once they get the evidence but obviously yours is more detailed so they are reviewing it further. It's just a waiting game

What more simple it can be? ...please indicate Yes or No to question 2 and sign.

An RFE is a Request For Evidence...They usually send you this when they need more evidence from you about your petition.

yes i did that.They received my RFE.

It depends on what the RFE was for, to know about how long it will take. If it was something simple it could be a short time but if it was more complicated it could be a longer waiting time.

I mark No on criminal record and sign.Thats all.

USCIS received my respond for RFE, and now i am on RFE Respond Review stage.

Today they switched from RFE to Request for Evidence Response Review. Does anyone know how long it will be until the approval? Thank you.

I am waiting to receive RFE by mail, and i am wondering what they can ask.

I had an appointment to see an immigration officer through infopass on July 6 at 3 PM.My NOA1 is July 17.At 1PM July 6 USCIS hit me with RFE, so it was no use to go to the appointment.Be very careful using infopass. Maybe you get RFE too.

Just want to tell everyone that i got my NOA2 approval notice from Vermont on 01/06/2011 by email. I havent got the offical letter yet, but i got a email from uscis that i was approve on jan 06, 2011. Just to hear from uscis was great enought. i know there are still people out there waiting on theirs, hopefully this give them some kind of encouragement. Please give me advice what i should do next. thank you everyone
