  1. Interview scheduled for DEC 13th.

Nice! I guess they're moving along then. You're a few days ahead of me in filing with Boston. Did you see any status changes or touches online prior to getting your letter?

My 485/130 hasn't been touched since the day after biometrics and a phone call to the help desk asking if the app had been forwarded to the Boston office yielded nothing.

  2. Im in Boston filed Aug 23rd, I got transfered to CSC (See my timeline below) I walk by that office everymoring on my way to work, i will stop in and tell them to hurry up for you!!!!

Thanks! Tell them I love mail. As long as it contains good news.

NOPE. The last time we called inquiring about the EAD, they told us that Boston is taking about 5months for processing AOS's.

    let's sit and wait...

OK. Fingers crossed that we hear something soon.

  3. Oh wouah under 90 days. When I called on the 19, i was told that Boston is taking 5months for I 485.

At least we will get the EAD soon

Hi MM/EV. Did you get the '5 months' number from the Boston office?

Was it 5 months from NOA or from biometrics?

Anyone with Boston as their local office get transferred?

    Anyone get an interview letter?

I've had neither. I guess no news is good news at this stage....

  4. I just got approved for my EAD aswell, works out good as I interviewed for a job on tuesday and the decision is been made tomorrow so if i am the lucky applicant i can say yes with no hesitation, plus I can get my EI started once i get my card if i dont get the job. Nice to see another bostonian-canuck here not too many of us

Good luck! Things seem to be moving smoothly so far (knock on wood).

Received additional updates yesterday and today:

AP papers received in the mail October 25th and today received the text/email: "On October 26, 2010, we ordered production of your new card." EAD on the way...

  5. Hey I'm in the same boat! I got another text & email yesterday on our AOS that it was now processing @ CSC. We got our transfer notice last week.......and I haven't had any changes on my EAD :P ...I know before I filed some people actually where having that happen.

    Nothing here either.

    No transfer of AOS.

No touches on AP/EAD since biometrics.

I'm entering the adjudication period suggested by visajourney timelines for AP, so hopefully I hear something soon.

  6. Good to know i am also in boston and heading into the office tomorrow for my walkin biometrics my date was the same as yours aswell oct 1. hopefully it goes as smooth for me as it did for you.

It's worth a try (although when I first phoned the office, the automated message said walk-ins are not allowed).

I should have added that I was going to be away on the date of my original appointment, so I had to plead my case a little.

Although I was originally turned away, they were very nice and offered to accomodate me either before or after my date if I came first thing in the morning.

I was asked to bring proof (I did, but didn't have to show it because they remembered me from yesterday).

    Good luck!

  7. Hi:

Finally managed to find time to sit down and post. Completed a successful walk-in in Boston office today. Tried yesterday after 3pm and they said no one is processed after 3pm due to paperwork duties. I was told the best time is the morning (worked for me -- in and out in under 15 minutes). Good luck!
