thanks. my interview is July 26th. Got an email yesterday....

I had 2RFEs as well and both for the same stuff as yours. My first one was for my joint sponsor's birth certificate and the second one was for w'2s and tax transcripts. they received my second response June 13th and June 15 i received an email about EAD card production. Today June 20th i received an email about the green card interview on July 26th. Hope your case will move forward quickly now. Good luck and keep us posted.

how long does it usually take to receive a letter about GC interview? June 15th i got an email that my EAD&AP card has been ordered and should come in the mail within 30days. i want to plan my trip back home for 3-4 weeks at the end of summer but not sure when i will get the letter and how far in advance is the letter about interview date. thank you

i sent out my AOS with EAD and AP. got 2 RFEs. First one for my husband's w'2 as he was unemployed at that time and our co sponsor's proof of citizenship then second one needed full tax transcript. it was a long journey and very stressful one but i am finally getting there

RFEs for AOS but as you know it puts on hold EAD and AP too. sorry if i confused you

a little update. they received my response to second RFE on June 13th and June15th i got an email saying they ordered my EAD card

We sent out tax returns for the past three years. thanks guys for all your help and support. we will get everything you told me

Hey guys. just got the letter with my second rfe. we need to submit all supporting tax documentation for joint sponsor. 1099s and all supporting tax schedules. on the bottom of this pink slip there is a handwritten note: must have this evidence to prove income. last request before denial... my father in law is self employed so please guys help me out here. he will know what all this is?

I guess i will have to wait for the letter from them and see what they need. thank you guys for all the support. i will keep you posted. God bless you all

Well, there is little use guessing at what the RFE may be for. BUT, did you submit proof that his father is a US citizen or permanent resident? That is required for the co-sponsor, they already have it for your husband.

2nd RFEs are unusual. They will usually NOT be for something they have arleady sent you an RFE for. If it were, they would just deny your case. They have discovered something else they need information on, probably not related to the first RFE. It is not usual because they try to do it all at once, but it can happen.

Yes we sent a copy of his father's passport.

His dad makes more than enough. I am not sure about 1099.... I will post when i get a letter from them. So tax return copies are enough or was it supposed to be a full transcript?

Hmmm.. if self employed, does he have 1099's? that would be it... if not maybe they are looking for another joint sponsor if they thought they wont accept your husband's dad.

I sent my husband's w2 and his dad is a joint sponsor but he is self employed and doesn't have w2. so he wrote a letter explaining that and it was notarized.....

Hi. i just got an e-mail that the uscis sent me a second rfe. I contacted the immigration services when i got my first one and sent everything the officer told me i needed. The only thing i can think of is did i need to send the tax transcript for the past 3years or was a copy of tax returns enough?thanks

I have sent in my packet, received my NOA1, got an RFE, sent those in, and now waiting for NOA2. When I mailed my packet in I sent in all of our messages from facebook and skype. I am trying to help my fiance get things organized for interview at embassy. How much proof of evidence is sufficient from facebook and skype does she need to provide at the embassy? Does she need all the messages or how should I go about getting this information on paper without having 900 pages of skype and facebook? Anybodies help would be appreciated. Her embassy is Kiev, Ukraine.

Just couple pages of skype logs and facebook messages will be enough. She should bring pictures of you together too.I brought 3 pages of Skype logs and couple e-mails and din't have any problems. Good luck!

The Medical Form should be filled by USCIS approved civil surgeon.

If you don't have the record of vaccination, don't worry.The surgeon will send the blood sample to lab to confirm vaccination.(There is certain criteria to identify the antibodies in the blood for different vaccine) If any vaccine is low in your blood he will administer that vaccine to you.(The vaccine price cost seperately/he charge seperately).

He will do a TB PPD test, if it is negetive its ok. If it is positive (Certain Asian and Europian countries give TB vaccine to kids which shows positive all the time)then you will go for Chest X-Ray.

if my parents will send me the records over then the surgeon will just transfer the records on my medical form? sorry if i'm asking too many questions, just trying to get everything done the right way

Did you have the medical in your home country for the k1 visa? If you did and they filled out the vaccination form and marked it as complete then you do not need to send anything with your AOS. From what I understand nobody usually gets a complete one which means yes your will need to go to an approved civil surgeon and have them fill out the vaccination form of the medical ONLY.

i had my medical but i didn't bring my vaccination records.

i just had my interview at Kyiv Embassy yesterday.you need Ds-156 (2 !!!!) and DS-156K

you better call them every other day to find out if they got it. don't wait till you get the package with the instructions to make an appointment. as soon as you know they got the I-129 make an appointment!!!!
