im posting a question to you in hope that you can shed light on it..it looks as if you are well informed in the K1 matters and that you've been a VJ member for some time. we've gone through the whole process and just recently received a schedule for an interview for April next month. during this proces, when i was notified on Feb 7, 2011 that my case was being sent to Manila embassy for processing. when my fiancee received her letter notification it was dated December 3, 2010!!! this is my question, why is the date so late? is this something that's done only in Manila? i've tried emailing, calling, i cannot get a straight answer. has this happened to anyone else before? i guess i should not worry too much, since, we're almost at the interview stage...it still bugs me to this day, how can anyone make an error on the date? i would that would be an important part of the process since we are on a tight deadlines, where everything has an expiration and cost attached to each action...just wondering. any information you have will help.

hello, it seems that you are asking for an answer or advice from us, when this is something that is very very personal between you and your wife...to be honest, I think that she is immature and you are allowing her to get away with it. Granted, she has her beliefs, but, what about yours? what do you believe? dont you think that you deserve an answer? if you allow this to continue, then you are also guilty of her secret "parents"? you need to re-evaluate your own life, why you got married in the first place. how will this affect your future together... as it has obviously started to cast doubts between you...does she not know how this is affecting you or is she doing this on purpose? the list of questions can go on and on, why? because you dont know, you need an answer.....unfortunately, the only person that can answer them is living with you.

that's very confusing, if they are not sending packet 3/4....then why not electronic processing?? it seems like a good idea, less paper..save time etc. if they have that capability, why alienate all other nonimmigrant visas? i looked at the list...it's a lot of visa types, not just K1...what's the point in goin DS 160 then? it's just not making sense to me right now....what a big let down

K-1ers do not use the DS-160.

Also, every single report from VJ K-1ers says the same thing: no DS-160 for K-1ers.

i just received my NOA2 and am preparing to put all paperwork/forms to send to my fiance as soon as i hear from NVC...my question is, the affidavit of support form....do i fill out the I-134 ? or can i fill out the I 864 instead? what are the differences?

sorry, i would like to correct the form I 864EZ seems to be a better fit for me...is this all i need?
