  1. I got the NOA2 and she is going to get her medical exam and she is preparing her vaccine documents. I know I need to fill out the affidavit of support form, but what else do I need to send her for the interview? (this is for K-1, she is in Ukraine)

    Do I need to send:

original W-2s or just copies? How many years back?

Other financial forms? if so which ones?

Original birth and divorce certificates I know that at least.

    What else am I missing???

You'll want to send Tax Return Transcripts. The W2 means almost nothing without the context of your entire return. Easy to get from the IRS via this link: IRS Tax Transcripts

I had problems getting them in a quick manner, but it seems Im the only person in the world that had that problem. Everyone else gets them in 10 days or immediately via fax if you call them. :)

  2. Hey all! I am so stressed :( My fiance sent me the papers i need for my interview on 28 september using US postal service (express mail) and they told him it will get here in 3 - 5 days. Using the tracking number they gave him on their site it say on 30 september the package Processed Through Sort Facility in Romania. I went to the post office in here and they told me it did not arrived in my country. I feel like screaming :( coz i need the papers this week, my interview is on 13 oct :( . What can i do to find out where the package it is? I will sure ask my fiance to call the US post office but what else can i do? And if, let's say my package will not get here in time, wich i pray to not happen, can i call the embassy and ask them to reschedule for an other date, would they do that?? :(:( Please help me!

    :help::help::(

We had to reschedule and it wasnt a problem. I cant comment on the schedule of the Romanian embassy, but in our case the next available date was 3 weeks after our original.

Not sure about the mail problems, maybe look at a courier service that can guarantee delivery? Pretty expensive though...

  3. Im having trouble getting my tax transcripts from the IRS. Ive requested them 4 times over the past 3 months and still havent received them. Would it be too big a risk to leave them out? I have supplied the following:

    1) Copies of W-2s, past 3 years

    2) Last 4 paystubs

    3) Bank Account statement for last 2 months

    4) Employment Letter w/ salary info

I've seen I can pay a service to get the tax transcripts faxed to me, I think it was only $10 but it looked like a pita. Should I just do it and have those documents or will they not be needed?

    Thanks for any help!

  4. Yes we were talking about that. It's just all the posters transfered to the other thing. I did send the meeting in person with my 129f actually send it for both meetings :).

I guess I should be good to go now......

    Waiting, waiting, waiting........

Everything I've read about the Kiev embassy implies that they are among the easiest to please. Your call logs will probably be more then enough. We're only taking Skype logs and banking history to show transfers. Even then, every Kiev Embassy review says they dont even look at it...

Granted, that just applies to us dealing with Kiev, everyone else should make sure they look at their own Embassy...

  5. I received my I-129F NOA2 on August 5th and have been waiting for the NVC to forward it to the embassy. I would call the NVC automated system almost every day and was always told that they had no record of my case.

Finally, today, I spoke with an operator who told me that my case was forwarded 2 weeks ago and gave me the case number.

So, if you're relying on that automated system: Dont. Talk to a real person... :)
