      Hi There,

      If you have your NOA1 case number, then there is no reason for you not to call NVC. They are easier to talk to and ill give you a straight yes or no as to whether they have received your case yet. If they haven't, then you need to contact USCIS, but if they have, they ill give you a new case number and tell you when they received it from USCIS and when they sent it to the local Embassy. With the new case number, you can then contact the local embassy.
