    thanks to my savvy friends, here on vj, i FINALLY have my interview date :)

      @ tim and melody-i have paid for the initial visa application, which was 450.00 or something. that was before my noa 1. i am now waiting for my fiancee to recieve his 'packet.' it seems to be taking forever, and making me nervous. until then, i am in limbo.

    finally recieved my approval notice! now it looks like a 10 month average wait for an interview?? does anyone know?

      i just got this response. i don't understand my way around this site AT ALL!! no mary, eh? haha. so we have been waiting for 3 weeks now for the passport. any day now, right??? :) it feels like i probably wont get a date until like january at this point. ugh. thanks for the help. wish i had seen it earlier. it was hiding.

      when i called, immigration told me there was nothing i had to do, however, i was told that i needed to make the appointment and that in order to do that i needed eliexer's passport number. he does not have his passport yet, however. i was just down there in jan. i wish i had recieved my noa2 prior. there is so much mis-information, it seems and i'm not sure what i need to do ??? i will definately be there for the interview. ugh, what a wait.

    1st post. becoming edgy. i'm frustrated that i can't get in touch with my fiance easily by phone, and have to wait 2 months for letters. i have visited 3 times this yr, but just can't go back until the interview. no news is crazy making.
