      He had medical on Monday, ACS on Tuesday and has his interview on Wednesday (today).

    Congratulations on being approved!!!!! Quick question - were you able to schedule the appointment before packet 3 arrived? I'm looking forward to hearing all about your experience. I am so happy for you guys.

      I waited until Packet 3. If you are confident it will come in time just don't mention that it didn't arrive. They really don't know. All they see in their system is that they sent it. You should be able to schedule regardless.

      I was able to make an appointment after they had SENT it but we didn't have it, yet. It's true that they don't know when you will receive it and there is nothing on there that they will ask for- no special number or secret password.

    Hurray! Please let me know how it goes. We are going to try to schedule the interview and pay today after we finish the DS-260. We'd like to schedule Juarez from May 12th to May 16th. Hopefully we'll have our invitation letter by then. Just think, it won't be long at all until your family is reunited!

    Thank you Danilu! Packet 3 was sent 2 weeks earlier than we expected. Let's hope that Juarez is running smoother now.

    Where are you planning to stay in Juarez? We are looking at La Quinta and the Holiday Inn Express.

    When is your interview? We want to schedule ours before getting packet 3 and make our hotel reservations (hoping to get a better rate). My fiancé will probably go on May 12th.

    I just called (703)439-2313 to find out if our packet has arrived and the recording said that I need a DS 160 confirmation number???? Don't I do that after getting packet 3????? I spend so much time researching.....

      wait for the option that says to talk to an officer give him/her you case number and they well tell you when the packet 3 was sent thats what i did

      I just did that today without the confirmation number and they said it was sent March 30th. You don't need the number they just want the case #.

    I hope that yours doesn't take too long either, Sarah&Michael. I read that Michael is in Denver. I lived in Denver for a while and actually knew a Michael from there who was married to a woman from Veracruz. How funny. Good luck!
