Hello yes this same thing happened to me and I also have the line going down the the side marking through the numbers and stoping at 14. They said i did not have address also but my wife does not really have a street address and i had put N/A there under street and the customer suport are not helpful if you call they will not tell you how to fix or fill it out. I called twice they only tell what you already know that you made a mistake and they tell you to refer to the notice and follow what it says but mine says nothing about how to fix it and what i should put in place the woman on phone just told me to write that she did not have an address on another piece of paper and just attach it to it and resend again. After looking over I noticed other mistakes so it is wise if you do get it back look over it one more time and refer back to the example form here on I-130 thats where I realized I had made mistake and im sure if you send it back with those mistakes still there when they look again and if notice will send back again to repeat. I personally think when they find a mistake they stop right on that place and not look any further. And I dont think all of these people really know what they are doing cause each country has different ways and ways of living that conflicts filling these papers correctly.

Put married name under 'other names used'. Keep her maiden name as the primary name. I hope her passport has maiden name as well. Don't change it.

yes her passport does have maiden name but she was planing to get it changed cause it will expire soon i think. So is best if get another pasport and leave maiden name on it im not sure it this will cause problem with visa when she gets ready to come and also when I resubmit this do you think i should make a new cover letter in regards to fixed issues?

well that is another thing I thought of also but i did not put her down under the other names also i put none for that so that is mistake also so you sugest resubmit it and still use the maiden name and under the place it says other name to put married name?

no the only thing i got was I-797c notice of action for rejection the only thing listed was the address mistake they did not say anything about the name being wrong even though i submited marriage liscense and she using our married name I now notice more mistakes I want to fix all of them and just redo all the I-130 but I dont know if it will cause a problem being that they give receipt number for our case that has her with the maiden name. Will I need to fill another form to correct that mistake also?

Hello I'm hoping someone can help me on another problem I have. My I-130 was rejected cause of missing address so I went to try to fix it on here then I realized when I looked at example form that I made a mistake I got confused when I was filling it out if I supose to put wifes maiden name or married name cause in one place it says to use maiden name so I used her maiden name instead but now after see the exaple form I realized I made a mistake and now I need to try fix it but I called the customer service number but they wont tell me if it is ok to resubmit new papers with all corrections including this one I dont know if it will be a problem being that they filed the one I sent before using her maiden name all the guy said was that im not supose to do it that it would be a lie and now im afraid that they will reject me all together if i resubmit with the name chage they are not helpful at all on the customer service line I dont know what to do if allowed to do or not they do not give any directions on my noa other than to fix and send back but im not sure if this will cause a problem or not and would they fix the error and change the name that goes with my case number I already have any information on this would be great

this is what I do I fill out the forms to the best of my ability and this may sound strange I have our immigration attorney go over it for us and he corrects the mistakes for us and it works out rather well for us and it cuts down on the Attorney fees also if you find one that will work with you on it.

yes i need to get one instead of me trying to do it all myself maybe it will will be less headache I still do not understand why they rejected it cause others did same as me they jus put N/A in place for the the street and theirs got approved I looked back over everything and I filled in every spot and if I not have the information I wrote none or N/A. So im left trying to figure out what I should do I think I will ise her work address cause it actually has a street name maybe that will satisfy them I hope other than that im not sure what else I can do. I think really what happen was that I typed the N/A and since it is at the the corner of the line I think the person over looked it cause i did same thing for the other page and they never mentioned about it on the noa just the one place on the I-130. I will try to call tomorow to see if i can get answer for this cause hoping to have mailed back out by least end of this week as soon as I can I wonder If anyone else is having this problem. Surely im not the only one anyway thanks to all of you here each bit of information helps

What did you include in the address...the barangay, town, province and country?

yes i listed town city and country and put n/a for the street address and they returned it so N/A dont always work

well im the one that got mine returned and i did have N/A on it i filled all places that i not have info with that but yet they still returned it maybe im just the unlucky one

Write a new check and include a copy of NOA1. That way they will have some cross reference and you won't lose your priority date too.

Writing by pen to complete the missing address is ok.

If they have not crossed anything out such as on check or form etc., you may use the same. Include a copy of NOA1 also, keep the original NOA1 with you.

So is ok if i mail back with the fixes but should i write a new check the scheck i sent had stamp on front of it and on back is number i have been told that is the case number would that still be a case number even though they have not aproved it i notice they have put line through 2 of those numbers that are on the side of my documents one is on the one they want the address should redo it?

Hello, I got my Noa today for my I-130 but realized they rejected it cause I did not have street address listed in section c but she does not really have a street address. She lives in an area where the streets merge together. There is street close to the one she lives on but she lives behind it on a side street. Should I just use that? And they sent everything back to me do I need to redo the whole thing or just fix the mistake? Cause I typed it using the online feature here. So I'm not sure I should send back with corrections with pen. I also see there is a number on the side of my documents I have heard the case number is often wrote on the back of the return check. They sent it back as well and I notice there is a number there and it matches the one on my documents would that number still be good if is a case number and if not will I need to send all new papers? Or would sending the old ones speed it up? If anyone can give me info on this I would be greatful cause I want to resend right away if just the address it is quick fix but I'm worried that that was as far as they read then stoped do they look the whole thing over before they send back to me?

Hello it has been 19 days since my I-130 arived in chicago lock box but still no noa i keep watch for the check to be cashed im starting to get worried now cause i see others who sent after me have already got their noa has any one waited longer than 19 days if so i like to know maybe this will lesson my worries. I can't understand how someone sends after me and gets theirs before me.
