  1. hello...

fill up those forms DS-156,DS-156K,and DS-157 before going to the appointment.

yes fill them up online, filling up online is neat, but you can also print those forms(blank) if you want to fill them by hand written, but make sure there's no erasure..here is my advise, print forms, fill them up with information by hand written, then go back online and make that filled up forms as your base.

date of arrival---there is no big deal if you put a date closer to arrival, you can ask your fiancee when, thou just estimated..remember you should fill everything,if it's not applicable, put N/A..don't leave any blank.

    Hi fellow members!

We are so happy, just received the next step of the K1 Visa. I have to collect forms and send few forms to my embassy before the appointment.

    My questions are :

Do I have to fill online the DS-156 before the appaointment at the US embassy?

Do I also have to fill the forms DS-157 ans DS-156K ?

On the DS-156, there is an information i have to fill, concerning the date of arrival in the US territory. But how can I know? haven't the visa yet, so, i can't know, when i'm leaving France, does make sense?

    Please, help us.

    Sorry for my English :)

    Have a great day :):D

  2. names appearing from birthcert to passport should be of the same, coz if not,it will give confusion at the end like issuing of visa..remember there are a lot of forms to be filled on along the process...it has to be fix on..

Just wondering if this will be an issue and raise a red flag.

My GF's NSO birth cert has a different spelling for her and her father's last name. He uses his last name spelling on his official documents and she uses her last name spelling on her official documents including her passport.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this.

  3. Good day ! just got my EAD last saturday, but the middlename as typed by the USCIS is my middle maiden name, below that name is my signature which i used my last name before i got married..during my biometric, the local office staff asked me what middlename to be used,so i finally said to have my last name as my middlename since that's the system we've used over Philippines..now in the EAD,things i expected is wrong...would this be a problem?
