I am officially a resident of the US! POE was good, long but not stressful.

Hubby is deployed. Probably going to postpone my interview because I would rather be in Canada until he returns. Any thoughts or advice are appreciated!

Well interview is scheduled... but not until after hubby goes to Iraq. Sigh. After 19 months apart already we are looking at another 9 to 18. So, I will go to the US in the summer so I don't forfeit my CR1, but will return to Canada until hubby is back

SIF! Come on Montreal! If I could get a DEcember interview that would be super sweet, but I know it isn't likely at all. A January one would be good too, then I might get to live with my husband for 1 month before he deploys to Iraq... Please please please!

Beyond frustrated! My DS-230 was received but we got a 2nd RFE because apparently my police clearance wasn't in the package. Total BS! Consdiering that they have all my other vital documents, which were included with the police clearance, how do you manage to lose this?!

DS230 entered in NVC system! yeaaaeee! Now we wait some more, 6-8 weeks!??, for the SIF and interview date? Will they notify me when the DS230 is accepted?

Tues the 16th we were told they had everything and had asked Montreal to expedite. Monday the 22nd they email a request for us to do the DS 260 online. Today we are told to wait 20 business days. I am so disappointed and frustrated right now.

I-864 accepted but NVC says they are waiting for DS230 to show up as entered into their system. They said this could take up to 20 working days and it's been 5 so far. More patience, more prayers.

STILL waiting on our RFE checklist to re-send our DS-230. Good thing I have a nice last-minute trip planned with the husband to take our minds off of it.

So the NVC has sent a request to Montreal to expedite. But, our case isn't complete at NVC. Any thoughts?

When I was speaking to an operator by phone they told me they were waiting on another Police Check, and it just so happened that I finally got the one I knew they would want that same day, so I emailed it in. I still haven't seen an RFE 2 weeks later, but I have been told that they have everything they need. So, what I am wondering is maybe you can ask the operator what they are wanting, rather than waiting for the email? Have a good trip wherever you may be going!

NVC is trying to expedite our case along with the Consulate in Montreal! Fingers crossed that we can be together before he deploys!

Just spoke to a VERY nice operator at NVC "Nicky". She informed me they do in fact already have my DS230 packet as of the 28th! Phew!
