  1. today we got a letter from CSC NOA2 sayin that our visa has been approved. :)

whats next :( im desperate to find out what documents i need to gather if somebody could please help i wld appreciate it what do i have to wait for now.. im sure there is answers everywhere on here but its so hard to search because there is sooooo so so many of them... for those of you that are still waiting hopefull you will hear from them soon seems like theyre still at the 5 month process for the approvals you can check my timeline to see how long it took us to receive it.. good luck to all of you :)

take your time :)) this is long process

  2. i sent my package June 29, then I received my NOA1 on July 12, from all the timelines ive seen Noa2 usually arrives after 2 months.. for me its more than 2.. almost 3 ... i hope the papers didnt get lost... i check my status everyday on the USCIS website.. do they even update that??? :/ i dunno if i should call them to see...

USUALLY ?? I recived mine in 168 days,so that is what you need to wait for, plus NVC processing another 3 months, plenty of time for you, just patience :))

  3. Well, that's certainly a K-3 situation, ya?

Suggest you call in to NVC, get a Human and start inquiring about case status on the I-129F

    see http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/264972-shortcuts-when-checking-for-updates-from-the-nvc-and-dos/

You may be one of the lucky ones, where the I-129F travels from USCIS into NVC without the I-130 paired up with it.

If that's the case, and NVC truly lobs the I-129F casefile into the Embassy (that happens within 3 weeks, usually)

then ya got a shot at the K-3. If you'd like to take that shot - just remember, once yer foreign spouse is in the USA on a K-3 visa, still have to an AOS procedure. Then 2 years down the road, a ROC procedure.

The bad news, IMO - is IF you two will have been married more than 2 years on interview day, or on 'jump to USA' day -

    then

a K-3 visa holder will only be awarded a '2 year card' after AOS.

If yer I-130 is held up because of an RFE (sorry, dinna check yer timeline, at all) then , IMO, it makes much sense to go through with the rest of the I-130 processing - and the NVC processing, then DELAY the 'jump to USA' date till after the 2 year marriage mark - cause then -

ya get the golden egg - the IR-1 VISA, resulting in a 10 year green card, on first issuance of green card.

IMO, trumps a lot of 'extra fees' and silliness with USCIS, always.

Hey - congrats on I-130 approval on the 24th, though - now you can play at NVC. I'm betting the I-129F will be administratively closed soonish. Disregard most of what I wrote above, as I'm betting it won't apply to you.

    ----

Good Luck, whatever route you decide to take !

I wana thank you for long explanation, day after they approved I-129F, I-130 Hass been approved to so I guess they will close I-129F in this situation
