  1. Yes and she DIDN'T "only" send the vaccination supplement. The vaccination supplement is actually old wording and now means where the CS completes the vaccination table and signs part 5.

    The DS-3025 isn't a vaccination supplement.

Completing ONLY part 1 of the I-693 was wrong and is what caused the issue. She now needs to ACTUALLY get a "vaccination transcription" done.

I see. Thanks! ( I think I got away with it when I did it last year ;) )

  2. Ahh there's your problem. She sent ONLY part 1 of the I-693. That's is WRONG. She either needs to do a proper vaccination transcription, or do a new medical and send that in.

Failure to properly reply to the RFE results in denial so chose the option wisely. I would have a vaccination transcription done.

The I485 instruction page 4 #8 states that as K-1, you only need to submit the vaccination supplement.

What she did was sent the whole form I693, completed the Part1 .. and for the Part2 #5 , she attached the vaccination supplement on her medical exam in the PHilippines just right before she got here...and stated on the box "Please see attached Vaccination Supplement Form DS3025".

  3. I'm not sure whether you're actually agreeing or being sarcastic. She's been in the US max 7 months (assuming she married on the 90th day for the max). She lives with his family where she said her husband "often" screams at her that she's a user. It certainly wouldn't be "home" here (for me) under these conditions... but you're right, I should have said "home country" to be clear.

Honestly though for me, the US isn't "home" yet, and I've been here two years. It's just the place I currently live... but I'm not sure Aus is "home" still either... though I would return there in a heartbeat, even now, if I was subjected to the conditions the OP describes... well.. appears I'm presently "homeless".. :S

Same here. Same here. I'd move back to my home country in less than a heartbeat if I'm maltreated like that!! There are a lot of people back home that loves me. I certainly don't deserve things like the OP described. tsk tsk.

To the OP.. Next time if he threatens you, tell him to buy you a ticket home!!!

  4. RFE said that she should complete part 1 and part 1#5 to be completed by a civil surgeon. She completed part 1 and attached the vaccination form DS3025 that she had in the Philippines (which is the same as mine)..so I don't think she lacks something unless they inserted a new requirement for vaccinations. I've done mine last year, and I had no problems regarding this. We have the same processing office too, in Missouri.

  5. Hi. Im sure there's some talk in here regarding this case. If you may, please give the link.

I just wanna know what to do if you receive a letter from USCIS that you need to go to a civil surgeon for vaccinations/medical. My friend came on a K1 visa and it has only been a couple months since her medical/vaccination in the PHilippines.

Should she write back and explain that shes exempted and/or call the USCIS regarding this matter. I never had this problem on my AOS.

    Thank you.

  6. Hi! I just wabt to ask how did u know that ur qualified for an emergency medicaid!? Did they send you a letter!? Thank you so much!

Hi. I applied because I dont have any income and my husband just got laid off, so they processed my application and then sent me a letter that I'm approved and gave me the insurance provider for my county. Then I called the insurance provider and they sent me a package of my benefits and everything else. It took only 2 weeks for mine. I guess it depends on who's processing.

You should also apply for WIC (Women Infant and Children). They will provide you free prenatal classes/ a lil healthy food items for pregnant women and your soon to be child. http://www.fns.usda.gov/wic/

    What state are you?

  7. This probably won't work actually because the petitioner is a dependent of the household member, and the I-864A won't properly reflect the number of people in the household. It's better if the petitioner fills out I-864 and the parent also fills out i-864. You sometimes have the option to do I-864A if they live in the same house, but not every time, and the criteria for knowing when you can use I-864A is more complicated than merely determining if they live in the same house.

To the above post: yes, you each fill out I-864.

Thanks for the reply, but we already filled out and submitted I864A :( . Well see. Thanks again.

  8. Wait - you want to hire Philippines workers for a fast food store in the USA? Not going to happen - you have plenty of workforce unemployed in the US already to choose from.

Unless this is one of those schemes on getting your cousin/sister/niece/nephew into the US...

LOL. I have no plans of getting my relatives here for just a job in a fast food. Life is hard here.

Nope not me. An owner of a fast food in new york who's a friend of mine is planning to hire Filipinos and asking me.

But I'll sure tell him what you said - that there's no way it can happen. Thanks for the input.

  9. Dear VJ members,

My fiance does not have money in the Bank Account but has a good work and makes over $2000 a month. Can my fiance get the bank statement without having money in the Account to use for Affidavit of Support or what ?

    Thanks for the anticipated response.

Best regards to all VJ members

When I did this, I only sent the paystubs and the tax forms. Make sure he's not on/below poverty level.
