It does matter. I'll suggest you get it changed by contacting NVC. It should be the same spelling as in your passport.

is nvc have objection or not?

in passport there is jeet.but in i 130 there is jit.my agent said it does not matter, becoz prnounciatiaon is same.

is any one has same experience.

I received reply back from csc regarding my inquiry and they asked me to contact 1-800 number...after their reply my case soft LUD changed twice on 24 & 25 Aug... not sure it's just hey have open my file to look or random LUD..

i think ur case was approved & u should recieve ur approval letter in 4,5 days by mail.

mine was approved on 19 august & we recieved NOA2 by mail on 23 august.

but not any email from csc.Dont warry u hear good news soon.

I know a case with p/d is july 2nd, 2009 just approved. So, you will have approval notice soon ,homer4all. Goodluck !

when i check my account,it was updated 18&19 august.

but i didnt recieve any email abt these updates.
