We are in the same boat and deeply understand how you feel. it is 72 days since our interview. we provided whatever they asked for, he came with me and attended the interview. The officer returned the papers and pictures and said check the website for your number to appear after 7 or 10 days. I started to check the site from the night of interview

After one month we sent them a follow up e-mail and they replied that the AP of our case will take approximately 1 or 2 months. Well we entered the 3rd month now and nothing happened. We have put our lives on hold and can do nothing except just waiting

we always go through booking.com and quite satisfied by the services.

Hi everyone. We have hired an attorney to work on our application which he filed on 3rd Mar and our interview date is already fixed. But we are not satisfied with his performance and intend to fire him. We affraid if he can cause any problem in the process! Do you think he can influence the final decision? Have you heard of such experience?

I have the same feeling which I dont want to call it jealousy I feel it when read/hear stories about couples whose entire process ended in just few months. I feel it when see couples can go back and forth and meet each other to ease the pain, we cannot plan to meet due to our limitations. When I receive wedding party's invitation, I know that none of my family members can attend and there will be just 2-3 friends.

It is so hard to deal with. But I have learned that everything in our lives happen because of a reason.

We hired lawyer and we beleive it was the worst decision we made, it is just wase of time and money and energy. The K1 visa is a transparent process which can be handeled by yourself. they just get your personal information, fill the forms and post them. nothing more.

I am experiencing the same feelings. hope you and all other couples here reunite real soon.

just to share with you that within next week I am going to attend Spanish language courses since majority of population in area that I am going to live are Spanish speakers and I want to learn few words . We try to break this waiting period by having short term plans. most probably we will meet sometimes in Nov or Dec depend on his workload.

we sent our petition on 3rd Mar, the cheque cashed on 5th Mar. their approval received on 30th Jun and then a notice of transfer on 30th Jul. we surprisingly found that they have changed our place of itnerview from Abu Dhabi (UAE) to Ankara (Turkey). After our follow up embassy replied that we have to send other documents via UPS and we did so. then there was an e-mail to my fiance that the interview is scheduled for 7 months later. they received the package on 18th Aug and fixed the interview for 23rd Feb.
