  1. Thanks to everyone who replied smile.png Just my idle curiosity thinking out loud! I found it bizarre that one member got an RFE for not providing enough financial statements when we provided NO bank statements at all. We don't have a joint bank account so we left it out. But I wondered if our child over-rode all in terms of proof? Who knows with this process lol.

    Good afternoon dear:

But this is just about luck, it is not because you had a baby....I hear people with babies that they were required for another interview in the ROC process, and also people that dont have kids and did not submit bank statements that got approved, so it depends in many factors some people said that also depends in which state you are living in and many other rumors...CHILDREN ARE NOT the only thing they see....believe me!!!'

IN here I think is not proper to say things like that or discuss why other members had problems because they did not provided enough financial evidence and you did not and you got it because of the baby...I am sorry I am not trying to be mean but it sounds like not fair this type of comments or questions because here we are to give hope to others not to confuse them or making them feel that YOU GOT IT RIGHT AND THEY DID NOT. Just saying Im not offending you...have a nice day!!!!

  2. I would like to know if this will be a succesful cover letter...we moved in October 2012 into our new apt and before we used to live with his mother who died in may....i dont know if because this is a new address we will have a problem

  3. I didnt get a stamp after the green card interview. She wrote pending on my passport and took my I-94. She also gave me a note says wait for 60 days, but no more info/doc needed. We dont have joint bank account or any of such. She took wedding photos, and asked some basic questions, like each others phone numbers. I have an affective Stay Away Order from the court, which I tried but failed to remove it. but we have permission to meet on that day. Interview officer also mentioned it at the very beginning, but the interview continued.

No stamp. I'm so worried, will I be disapproved?

IM CONTACTING you AND IM SORRY, BUT IT HAPPENED THE SAME TO ME...I WAS READING YOUR INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE AND IT IS THE SAME, THE THING THAT THE OFFICER WROTE ON MY PASSPORT. ETC..PLEASE CAN YOU SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE AFTER THAT AND I DONT KNOW WHATEEVER YOU WANT TO SAY, BECAUSE IM SOO NERVOUS, MY IINTERVIEW WAS ON 01-03-2011.

    THANK YOU

  4. There is nothing we can really say that you don't know. It sounds like there was some sort of problem with your case, so they are doing further review. A lot of cases are still approved if they go to further review though, so don't lose hope just yet. I think the passport annotation is just the day of your interview etc so you have proof of your current status in your passport. Is there anything that the officer seemed to focus on in your interview that was negative?

no he just asked a lot of questions and he was a little bit intimidating....he even said good afternoon...and at the entrance he said, this is how it is, you sit here and you sit over there, but of course together in the same room

  5. I dont know what that means, but me and my husband we were interviewed together and then he wrote something on my passport....is this ( section 245 interview 01/03/11, my A# I-485 pending NYC and the officers name) and he gave us a letter that says. your case is being held for file review in order to prepare a decision. you will be advised by mail as a to a decision on your aplication. no aditional information is necessary from you at this time, however, if upon further review, additional information or evidence is required, you will receive a notice in the mail. please respond to any requests in a timely manner,. failure to do so will result in denial of your application. And in the end he said i just need to check your visa

  6. It's not unusual to not be approved right then and there. A lot of people get approved shortly after the interview. Not necessarily something to worry about. How did you feel your interview went?

i feel it went good he took us outside for a little bit, we were together at the interview, and he ask more questions to my husband that is the USC, and to me a couple of cuestions, i think the officer was a little bit rude when he asked the questions like he wants to intimidate the couples, i saw the same and he was the only one interviewing all in the room, then he call us back, and quick he gave us back our photo albums and told us that he need to check my visa, and we said thanks sir..........

  8. Odd, maybe it is just Phoenix? We saw another couple leave and come back with the card and wait to hand in the card after their interview.

  9. Sorry your Interview didn't go so well. I think everything should be fine as long as you send in what they ask for. i'll keep praying for you, you'll get approved Insha'Allah!

  10. Hello everybody, i dont know what that means, but me and my husband we were interviewed together we macth the questions, by the way he was like a little bit rude or I dont know if is their job... and then he wrote something on my passport....is this ( section 245 interview 01/03/11, cr# my A# I-485 pending NYC and the officers name) is a bad thing?

And our interview was fine, and he gave us a paper that says you file has been held or something like that and that they dont need more information or documentation from us, that they will send the decision in 60 days.

    :help::wacko:

  11. Took about 20 minutes, went find but were asked a lot of questions and he doubly checked names etc against other documents. All-in-all though pretty straightforward once you go in prepared and my heart jumped when I saw him stamp "Approved".

Should have my Green Card within a week and no more USCIS for 21 months!

Please you can tell me what kind of question did they do to you?
