    I did not register the marriage. Just sent the translation when they asked for it. Keep everything you do. Recipts of visits, chats, phone calls (not cell), emails, bank statements, proof of how you met. I had to send in a box of proof when they asked. My lawyer said the 11 page request was the most he had ever seen
