Detroit, not NYC but I had my interview on 7/23, was issued a continuance (problem on my marriage certificate). I went to city hall on 7/24, had the problem corrected and faxed the new one in same day.

I got my E notification yesterday, 8/3 that I'm approved and in line for oath ceremony scheduling.

I had my interview in Detroit yesterday, everything went very well until the IO (who was very nice) looked at my marriage certificate. He said it was no good and he needed a certified certificate. I had no idea my marriage certificate was not certifed, it was the same one I used for my adjustment of status and there was no problem then.

He said everything else was fine aside from that and issued me a continuance.

I went to the county courthouse today and for $15 they issued me a certifed certificate, they said in the past year they are doing it differently than they used to. I came home and immediately faxed it to my IO, so hopefully next week I will get an approval.

My poor husband was a nervous wreck he saw so many people go in and come out while I was in there.

Finally! I have an interview date....July 23rd at 2.05pm

Just checked in on line and yesterday the notification was posted that I've been scheduled for an interview. Awaiting the letter now.

I called today as it's been over six months since I was put in line for an interview (November 28th). They told my that while I'm outside the national processing time, Detroit is so far behind that I'm still within their processing time (contrary to what the website says, but oh well).

They said I'm scheduled for processing in 27 days and to call again if I haven't heard from them in 30 days.

I would certainly do it immediately. If it has been more than 120 days since being in line, then you should contact them - infopass, call whatever. This is ridiculous!

I'll call on Monday.

Over six monthis in line for an interview now with no word. Time to check in with them I think.

Not a peep since Nov. 28th, should I check in with them or just wait?

I have just received the Interview Letter today (15th Apr). The interview date will be 20th May.

I think I am the last one of the Taxas lockbox list to get the interview !!! It takes nearly 7 months from the date of N400 filing to the date of interview !

This last stage is the longest one of the whole journey.......

my friend is waiting on Detroit office as well. He applied July 25 and has been inline for interview since September 4th. It could be frustrating.

Three months now since my yellow letter. I know I need to be patient but I'm felling discouraged.

My SS card says something along the lines of, valid for employment with authorization. Apologies for not going to dig it out to see for sure. Once you're a citizen you'll get one the same as any other USC I would think.

Still waiting for my interview date here, getting twitchy Congrats to new citizens!

Is anyone else not able to check their status on the USCIS site today? I first got an error saying I was locked out for either inactivity (I check every day) or too may unsuccessful attempts (the page was not loading properly yesterday).

When I click on the password link as instructed to correct it tells me my user name is not valid, but it's tha same as before, just my name.

Never mind, working now. Starting to get frustrated that I have no interview date yet though.
