  1. Got our NOA on April 2nd. Waiting for biometrics letter.

  2. It's time to start the process all over again. My husband will be sending in his ROC I-751 tomorrow. hopefully we don't have to wait a year this time for a greencard or need to be interviewed.

  3. FINALLY....today we got an emailed that says my husband's green card is in production. We are happy now....lol for 1.5 years until the next battle with immigration...ROC

Thanks so much! Very relieved that it's over with!

  5. Had our AOS interview today at 8am and only lasted bout 20 minutes. He interviewed me first then my husband afterwards separately. He didn't look at pics or anything but took what accts we had that we're joint accts.. He asked me bout our house and family that lived with us, my job, and what I did last weekend. He then asked my husband same questions. No decision yet

Did they say when they will make a decision? Glad that the interview is over with for you guys, I hope they come up with a decision soon!

  6. Got letter in the mail from USCIS that we are going to have interview on June 13. Hate that they made us wait at CSC for over a year just to have an interview. Annoye that hey should have sent it earlier if they were going to interview. But glad that we are finally moving along.

I'm glad you finally got an answer as to what was going on! But that's SO horrible that they're making you have an interview after all this time! Did they tell you why?

Glad things are moving along though (better than our case, still not not a word about my husband's case!)

  7. Lol so I lied or more like USCIS wasn't sure what they are doing. First they changed us to status update that "card is in production" now the just sent email and just changed status again that our application was transferred to local office and now at "initial stage". Thank you USCIS for being a confusing @ss. There might be an interview yet...

OH geeze, so sorry to hear! That's so freaking nuts!! I hope they can get their sh!t together and get things right! They better not make you guys have an interview still!

      Nothing new for us.

I hope its not an interview for you guys either! It seems kind of insane that they could do that after a year. They haven't "touched" our case since December 11, 2012 when we moved and changed our address. We will see what the next few days/weeks bring. Hope approvals for us both soon!!

  8. Received email update for my husband greencard. All we needed to do was wait a year and some and two service request. Thanks USCIS for working so fast (note the sarcasm). Lol but all in all glad we didn't have to interview and happy greencard is in production.

CONGRATS CONGRATS CONGRATS!!!! That's so exciting! I'm very happy for you guys!! It's about dam* time! lol

  9. Just got a email from USCIS that they are pulling our case to be adjudicated. Supposedly suppose to wait 45 days. Here's hoping its not a couple months

Good news! I hope too, since that was the exact same response we got from them last week about my husband's GC! Can they tell you it'll be within 45 days and then NOT have it done within 45 days?

  10. Just called USCIS and they didn't tell us anything new about his greencard. We put in another service request and sent a letter about a week ago to senator but no answer yet. Although his EAD and AP card is in production so we'll be ok there. Arghhh taking so long for greencard tho.

I don't get why it's so difficult to get something done, it's only been (practically) a year! I want to know if my husband's application was affected by the plumbing!

Ooh, would that person be able to help with your case do you think? Our representative has been absolutely useless so far. We sent the papers in on March 4th!! Not a word to this day. I haven't called them if they even looked at it though. They said once they got it, it would take 2 weeks for anyone to look at it, due to security screenings (rolls eyes)

  11. in that case yours probably won't be transferred then. you'll probably get an interview in a few months. it sux more if it gets transferred.

  12. lol forgot to say make sure you send "copy of NOA I-797C" and not the original.

  13. let me know if you have any questions.

  14. hello. for my husband's renewal of his EAD and AP we sent in 2 passport photos, NOA (I-797C), photo copy of his drivers license, photo copy of his passport, and photo copy of his EAD/AP (back and front). We sent those for each I-765 and I-131. the I-797C we sent were the one for his I-485 and biometrics. We IDs we sent were a bit much but we just didn't want to miss anythign so over...

  15. just sent in husbands EAD and AP renewal. hopefully won't take too long to get it.

Thanks for the info! There isn't a fee to reapply, right? Oh, what a pain! lol I hope that we both get approved soon!

Good to know about the EAD fee! I will definitely let you know about how it goes with getting my congressman involved. I hope they can actually look into things! But i saw on my representative's website that for security, there is a 2 week screening on all mail brought in to their offices, so no matter when they get our letter, it will take 2 weeks for them to look at it :/ hope that's not the case and they'll look soon!

We're still waiting to hear anything back from our rep. I think I am going to call tomorrow to talk to their office to see if they even got our papers! It's pretty frustrating!

  16. Sent in a service request for husband's AOS. It's been about 8.5 months since transfer to CSC. Hopefully we get something soon cuz he wants to go visit family soon.

  17. wait so the VA homeless shelter has denied your wife and kids shelter and are only willing to give it to you?

  18. Anyone know the number to call for service request on our AOS. I called the 800 number but only got a machine options...

  19. CSC is taking forever for AOS. Looks like they are only working on April 2011. Lol husband already thinking about going back to visit family so better get that green card soon

yeaaaa it took so long but its okey the waiting worth it as everybody said :0

  20. My husband just got his EAD and travel card. It looks like a drivers license. Anyone know if he should be carry this with him everywhere or is his driving permit is good enough for ID?

    1. joonphon

      joonphon

Don't carry that thing around... only need that when he applies for job or something... carry driving permit is good enough...

  21. ...but really you can't really be mad at the couples that don't have to go thru AP because anyone going thru what we are all going thru are having a hard time no matter how smooth or rough the path is for them in their petitions. i just have a dislike for the CO's and their unwritten policy to put older female younger male on AP.

  23. oops my fault i meant older female (petitioner) and younger male (beneficiary) are given a harder time while older male (beneficiary) and younger female (petitioner) are usually are approved with one interview and no AP. don't get nervous or scared now. just work on getting all your stuff together. also when you guys get to NVC work have him work on interview questions.

  25. i'll send you a message of my facebook cuz i couldn't find yours. it is actually quite unfair because the older male (petitioner) and younger female (beneficiary) are given much more difficult time. they usually put all the younger male beneficiary on Administrative Processing (AP) which means they are gonna make you wait while they decide if they believe you or not.
