2 kami ng kapatid ko nakapetisyon pareho kaming may anak, kasama na sila sa pag-alis kung sakali

  3. F2b me mam lynie same lang ba tayo ? Or ung isang site ang sinasabi mo hahaha yup but much better here, sana magtuloy tuloy na

  5. glad to be back here, its been 3 years since the retrogression and the way the visa bulletin is moving abot kamay na ng mga nasa 2002 PD ang matagal na inaantay kasama ako don. Good vibes lang tayo mga F2B!

  6. You may want to see a doctor yourself just to make sure everything is in order, and you have a current medical record in hand when you proceed with your medical, which is 3 to 4 months down the road.

Do you suspect something is wrong? Or are you just trying to be careful?

i have a hole in my heart, (atrial septal defect) and in the xray they can see that i have a heart enlargement.

With regards to my check up, i plan to see my cardiologist next week for she is out of the country right now.

  7. Not sure how to answer that...you may want to post a new topic on it in the proper forum. In my mind, as long as wala kang sakit na nakakahawa or nakamamatay (if you have no communicable disease or you are not terminal), you should pass the medical. Do you have medical records that would support the fact that you have a clean bill of health or a good prognosis in spite of your history of congenital heart disease? You should have those ready for the medical examination.

i do have my medical records when i was pregnant, but after that i did not have a follow up check up. Thanks anyway.

  8. Can the pedia do a skin test on your nephew just to be sure? You don't want any surprises.

Tomorrow morning he will have his ppd test.

I have another question, OT nga lang. I have a congenital heart disease and im kinda worried about it. Do you think it will post a problem? :help:

  9. They will test the baby if there is reason to suspect that s/he has been exposed to TB or Primary Complex. Does the baby live in the same residence as your 8-year-old nephew?

Yes, he's my son. The reason im asking about the tuberculin test for baby is because i read in other immigration forum that below 2 years old baby dont need to have this test.

Oh BTW, my nephew is cleared from TB. They went to his pedia this morning and the dr. said that he's okay but he has a scar in his lungs which is a good sign that his immune system is fighting the disease.. Am just hoping that his tuberculin test in SLMC at the time of their medical turns negative.

  10. wow...now you got me worried. because when his pediatrician told my wife that he has PC, wife was told nothing to worry about. pedia just told her na siguraduhin yung surrounding nya isn't around animal farms, etc. etc. etc. because of the air. which it wasn't because we live in the city.

i guess i'll tell my wife to bring the kids to the doctor to make sure everything will be ok and they won't hit a snag when it comes time for them to do their medical.

Sorry bout that, but am stating based on my nephew's experience and thats was doctor told us. Hope your kids are well.

  11. this is the second thread i've read regarding a kid having PC. does a kid contracting PC automatically mean it leads to TB? because my son when he was a about 4yo, the doctor said he had PC. but a year or two later, his pediatrician said everything was ok with him as far as the PC diagnosis. i think i need to have wife bring him to the doctor to get checked.

I think PC is another term for TB. It is either called PC or Primary Koch in kids. You should be careful with your son coz there is a tendency that it will go back. A simple cough and colds can lead to PC or TB specially if he had a history of it.

  12. I'd suggest that the boy start getting treatment immediately...and see if it can be addressed within 3 months...worst case the boy will have to continue treatment for another 3 months at the time your brother needs to go out for medical and interview.

As for the interview, you will need to find out if your brother can be interviewed ahead of the boy...and be issued a visa first. I am sure there are certain parts of the process that you can max out the time allotted para may time kayo na tutukan ang treatment ng bata without missing certain deadlines.

I was thinking, maybe my brother can procced to his interview and when he already had his visa he will bring her daughter first in the US then go back here in manila for my nephew once the treatment is done. Dont get confused, he has 2 kids kasi.

In other cases, like K1/K2, K3/K4, IR-1/IR-2, and CR-1/CR-2 kasi, pwedeng follow to join ang mga bata as long as they meet certain age requirements...am not sure if this applies to the boy since he is under a different category.

Thanks for your response. I'll call USem Manila tomorrow to find out what's the best thing to do.

  13. The son will have to be treated for TB...depending on the severity, treatment is 3 to 6 months, and will be done at St. Luke's daily until treatment is finished. Only then will they conduct another medical examination on the boy to determine his eligibility for a visa. I don't know if he has to pay the medical fee again...that is something you have to ask St. Luke's.

What is your brother's status? Does he already live in the US? On what visa? It is kind of hard to answer your questions when all the facts are not available.

He is applying for immigrant visa under F2B category. Our priority date is soon to be current. Nov2002 and right now they are processing Aug2002.[/b]

Will need to know how old the boy is, and what resident status/visa your brother is holding or applying for.

My nephew is only 8 years old.[/b]

So your saying that my brother needs to wait for his son to be cured before they can proceed to their interview, right?[/i]

  14. Please i need all the advise/help you can give. My nephew is positive in tuberculosis. I am so upset and worried because this will cause a delay in their petition. Though we still dont have an appointment at the USem i had him check and it turns out that he has a tb. He is a derivative son in my brothers case. Now, i have few questions and hope someone will be able to answer it.

    1. Is it possible that my brother can still go to his interview at Usem even without his son?

    2. What will be the procedure for the son if the father had already a visa?

  15. hi how much time it takes to get the tax return copy?

my brothers son need a joint sponsor and the consulate asked him to find joint sponsor.

my question is we got a person willing to joint sponsor and how much time it takes to get all the paper required for the sponsorship i guess the tax return and all and what are the amount in $dollars the sponsor need to earn yearly to sponsor one person i don't understand those 125% and all so thats way i m asking in $dollars how much is needed for one person?

it takes 2 weeks to get a tax transcript but we got ours in a week. It depends if the joint sponsor have dependents and if/she is married. The poverty guidelines is easy to understand as long as you know how many people(household size) your gonna add into the AOS. Lets say its just the joint sponsor (single and no dependent) and your nephew, so that makes 2. the 125% of the poverty line is $18,212.

  16. no, i seriously didnt have any idea about cspa not until she was asked to write a letter on the day of the interview. you think that's going to be a major problem?

GOd is good! You know there are only few CO that will proactively tell the applicant what to do to be able to get/eligible to a visa. I bet if someone else CO is that they wont even tell you that she can opt-out to retain her category (F2B). Give them time to review it takes 60 days to grant the requests for an opt-out. But am guessing it will not take that long.

  17. No form was given to her. She had to opt out for the automatic conversion because I became a US citizen last year and also she had to add her son in the petition because when I petitioned her, she didn't have a baby then. But she stayed single (whew, thank God!)Hopefully it doesn't take that long.

i see, it must be the opt-out that has to be reviewed. tell her to call after 3 weeks just to inquire about her case. Goodluck! Keep us posted.

  18. what's ap and form 221g? all he said was wait for a letter in the mail and its 60-90 days wait.

    Administrative Review and/or Administrative Processing

    After Your Visa Interview

Administrative Review: Is when your case is being looked at more closely for accuracy and to make sure all security name and fingerprint checks have cleared and your visa can be adjudicated.

Administrative Processing: Means once you have interviewed it is in security checks for any of these situations: you have had a name hit in one of the many data bases, background checks for fraud, or has missing and incomplete information that must be submitted and the rechecked. Processing is more in depth and than the review process and there is no time limit for this processing to complete. Administrative processing can last a few days or months and in some cases it has endured for years.

    What is 221(g)?

The 221(g) is a section of the US Immigration and Nationality Act, which is used when the embassy or consulate are unable to take immediate action on a visa case. In rare cases, when additional processing is required, the suspense category used in that case is 221(g) while the additional processing takes place. For example, sometimes the applicant has failed to bring in the correct documentation, has incomplete information or in some cases the embassy wants a co sponsor before they will issue the visa or health reasons are all reasons a 221(g) is issued. In the Middle East/African/ Asian countries these applicants are scrutinized and screened more intensely and thus they have to wait out longer security or fraud investigations until all verifications for security or suspected fraud come back cleared.

is her son already include in the petition when you filed it? or she just added him while she's processing her paper?
