yes just a letter saying parole was approved and a picture of the child.

i did file all three forms the permit to travel, aos and ead. but we only recieve this approval for travel.

we recieved i-512L. i dont think its a combo.

Hello, my wife is a greencard holder now her daughter is with us in the U.S and we have filed the AOS and everything. today we have recieved an approval for Parole to travel.

We want to know are we getting an ID Card (greencard) from USCIS or what? And we would like to know also when can we apply for child's SS number?

My wife which I petitioned a year ago (K1 Fiance Visa) now have a green card for two years... Now my question is, She can go for a vacation in the philippines right?

When I filed for her Green Card I filed it with Employment Authorization Document and Travel Document... How can I make sure that she can have a vacation? Are there any needed documentations? Please help.

Hello everyone. my wife has been recently approved for a green card and now we are ready to petition her child (4yrs old), which I included on my fiance petition (I129F) as to follow.

questions:

1. who should petition the child, me or my wife?

2. what petition to file? k2 or I130?

3. where should we file, united states or philippines?

4. is there any step by step guide for this?

I have been told to update my derivative k2, I called and was told I could not file k2 anymore because my wife is here in US already.

Also called philippine us embassy and was told I can file k2 as long as my wife's visa is not yet expired.

We are confused on what to do. Please help.

INFO: I was petitioned via K1-Visa and now approved for green card. When my husband processed K1 my child was there on a "to-follow" line. Any advantages on this that could take the process faster?

any info would be appreciated... i am approved with my green card and been given a tracking number but when i call the local usps office, they informed me that the mail was "forwarded", and was told that the mail prolly sent back to USCIS because of wrong address. any of you guys experience same scenario?

Hello everyone. My fiancee arrived last month from Philippines, we married 2 weeks ago and now preparing to send the Adjustment Of Status Package... My question is, would it be fine if we go now in SS Office and try to change her last name (or add my family name) to her name? (she already have social security number) and if so what about our Adjustment Of Status Package, should we put my last name on it?

My fiance is here with me now she arrived last June 8 and then we went to Social Security Administration June 9th and filed for her Social Security card.. we've been told to wait for 2 months for they will mail the card to us. (We are getting married on June 28th.)

Questions:

1. Can we start filing for AOS without a number? (Social Security Card)?

2. The card that will arrive in two months would have "Not Eligable For Work",. Right?

3. So we have to wait 2 months for the card and 3 months for AOS process, that would be 5 months all in all before she can start work?
