Sorry I took it away! Just keep calling and requesting updates. They might get tired of you and just put it through. But have your fiance start those papers i sent you!

The NOA2 was different for me. If you call many times and prove you are in the active duty military, they try to speed things up for you.

APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!! This is one of the happiest days of my life!
-
Just to let you know, as soon as you get the NOA2, start on the packet. I can send copies of everything the embassy will send you later. Send me an email to rb_plmr@hotmail.com The embassy gave us a 1 week notice to get everything done and have the interview. We were approved today!

I need help!!!! What do I need to send my fiancee for her K-1 interview???
-
So my fiance gets her packet tomorrow. And the Interview is Next Wednesday. What forms do I need to fill out? Anyone know?

Go to the US Embassy/Lima Website, click on immigrant visas...all the info is there. I hope she got all her certificates already. My fiance had to stand in line from 8am to 3pm for one of them recently. Then the certificates need to be legalized, then translated. She also needs her medical exam and vacunas.

Anybody know how long it takes the Lima embassy to send the Packet 3 to my fiance? The Packet was sent to the embassy on Dec 15, but we still have nothing from the embassy.

NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! December 10, 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So another touch today. Think I am getting the NOA2 tomorrow or this week!
-
Hopefully get something back from USCIS tomorrow! Faxed in the paperwork they asked for. Pray for us!

So I just got fed up finally and used my Military status with USCIS on the phone. Got my Captain in on it too. They will get back to me this week they said.

Day 80. Not a touch or anything in 73 days. Each passing day makes it harder for us to keep everything together.
-
All I am asking for is a touch, let me know that you know I exist! Don't make me have my Captian or Major start calling for me!
-
Tired of waiting. Making me sick. Quite literally.
-
Does anybody know if I need to be present in the interview whenever it comes around??? And also, if I call USCIS if i can find out exactly where in the process the application is?

The website is pretty much the only information you will receive from the USCIS about the status of your application. But, even when it is approved, that won't really let you know when your interview will be scheduled. Spend some time in the Peru forums to see how long the process is taking to get an interview once the National Visa Center (NVC) sends your information to the consulate there. That will clue you in more about your country-specific timeline. Good luck!!!

I did not go to the interview and she got approved, but we also had a lot of evidence. The website never notified me when the petition was approved or when it was sent to Lima. I don't believe she ever got the packet that was sent from the embassy to her house either. About 2 weeks after I got the approval notice(NOA2), I called NVC and was told it had been sent to Lima and got the Lima case #. She then used that to contact the Embassy and pick up the packet. At this point, the USCIS...
