    Does anybody know if I need to be present in the interview whenever it comes around??? And also, if I call USCIS if i can find out exactly where in the process the application is?

      no, you do not "HAVE" to be around for the interview, he can attend it alone....but i have heard it is best if you do. but...im sure you will be just fine if you dont. : )

      you can call uscis, but they will only tell you the exact same thing that is online....http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis . i have called numerous times, they have told me that they are not very good at updating online case status....and to just be patient and wait for NOA2 to come in the mail. pa...
