Hello, I am awaiting approval of the I129F for my fiance, in the meantime, can she get ahead of the game by completing or prepare to complete "packet 3", that is what is to come after the approval of the I129f. Is there a bonafide checklist out there she can reference? I appreciate everyones help.. you all have been great.

That is very interesting.. no wonder they gave her a hard time last time on a trip we took.

Technically, once the i129f is on file, she could be denied entry to the U.S. on the visitor's visa because her intent to not immigrate, the basis for the visitor's visa, is no longer true.

In actual practice, passport control at the port of entry will not normally get that technical, but just in case they do, it is good to have the documents the last poster suggested so that the intent to immigrate for THIS TRIP can be overcome.

Hello,, I have a K1 Fiance visa in progress right now. My fiance, which currently lives in HK wants to visit me on a tourist visa that is currently valid and active. Will the US customs deny her entry to visit.. mind you, she will have a return trip ticket back to HK.

Please give me your thoughts.

I am a bit stumped.. I am trying to submit a K1 for my fiance from Hong Kong.. however the issue is she was born in china and unable to obtain a birth certificate... has anyone ever came across this situation and a resolution?

Hello, I am new here, my friend is really shy to ask but I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight on this issue he is having. Many ppl have told me different things.. I figured since this forum is dedicated to these kind of issues.. someone could chime in.. .thank you in advance.

1)My friend married a woman in China.. the wife has a child that he wants to bring over. The million dollar question is does the "father of the child" have to sign some kind of "release form for the child ( 14 yo)? This is in preparation for the CR1 filing.
