    Ok,so I have been away from my husband for nearly a month now and even though I see him twice a year,its getting harder and harder to be away:(

      Nigeria is a very kind and welcoming country,although as with any place as a foreigner you must be careful as well because some search for foreigners to take advantage of!

    If ever you need a local congressional office to help you, first ask what kind of help they will actually do before asking them for anything! Some will go further than others, it's best to inquire from the get go as I just learned the hard way!

      I agree.I had to "look around" a bit before choosing one to work with,many just talk but dont really try to help all that much.

    ...This is a long bumpy road, congrats to those @ the end and to those of us at the beginning or somewhere inbetween let's keep on, keeping on. Soon we'll look back on these days and look into the eyes of our loved ones and just smile :) God is good and as long as we keep Him first... You know the rest, blessings!

      But Gods time is the best and it is already done;just remember that oh,and I just came back from Naija 3 weeks ago on my 6th trip and we have been married 2 years now..and still waiting,ughhh!!!

    Please can anyone with vital information tell me how long does it takes California service centre to approve a petition?i got my NOA1 08/05/2011.

      Mine was 8 months because it went from CSC to TSC to CSC and then finally back to TSC..and I finally had to get a Congressman's office involved.But since its K-1 it will probably be right about avg (5months) Good Luck!

      yes,I have heard the fiance visas are generally faster,we had originally filed that one but then when I went to Nigeria on my 2nd trip we got married and so we had to cancel that application and begin a new petition as my spouse:-)
