We filed our I-129F on October 15, 2010...Ben arrived home on June 19, 2011, so around 8 months from petition filing to home Not really too bad when I think back, but of course, while waiting it's SO hard.
yes,I have heard the fiance visas are generally faster,we had originally filed that one but then when I went to Nigeria on my 2nd trip we got married and so we had to cancel that application and begin a new petition as my spouse:-)
