embassy is not bad at all. should be very easy since especially it's a dmocratic US governemnt running teh show. What kind of a visa are you applying? Have your papers properly ready and just be simple and answer the proiperly. You should be fine. My fiancee had lod of evidence but nothing was requested. It is just that SL is an easy consulate...good luck!

Did you mean that it says "it will be forwarded to consulate" instead mentioniong that it will go via NVC?

Typical USCIS stuff. Don't bother. Wait 10 days after you got the NOA2 & then call NVC to find out where the case is & get the case number. Just simply let it go thru the regular chanel. But make sure embassy have your package from NVC. Good luck!
