    I'm soon headed home to the US where I will wait for my husband. Not looking forward to the separation but knowing that we are very close to getting his visa makes things bearable. He has his interview on the 10th of January but has to wait to come to the US until he is done with his Bar course. I have to say that our experience with the Auckland consulate has been wonderful. They have made everything very easy and very quick.

      My wife and I are about to start filing for the IR-1 from New Zealand DCF.

      I was wondering if there is a reason you are going to America without your husband; is this US immigrations choice or your choice?
