Great news!

Heading to Woking in Vancouver? If so the parking lot next door is like 27 dollars for 3 hours but if you drive down the ally and park on the Hornby street side you can park for 13 dollars all day and its just as close. Should be a breeze. I was out of there by 9 because I got in early. You can get in before most people if you go to the elevator in the underground parkade, otherwise you line up and wait for the gate to open out front.

just remember - the people registered on visajourney is a very small representation. There could be quite a few cases represented between may 8-14. But ya, seriously, let's get this over with already.

I'm pretty sure we missed October. I can't believe this. It's taking MTL 4 months to get through the May cases. You should be early November though. I'm nervous I'll miss November now at the rate they are going.

I don't think the k-1 scheduling thing really changes a whole lot. The k-1's still have to wait for there packet 4 to sign up for an interview. The packet 4 used to have a pre-assigned date now it just tells them they can pick a date for the following month.

Right, I'm may 26 and have missed out on October. So we're looking at over 5 months at the minimum. Can't believe this is happening. We've had the worst luck this year - we missed the k-3 by 2 weeks, our lawyer messed things up at the NVC costing us 6 weeks and now this. Can't wait for this to be over.

Well I've missed October so it means I have to wait for a November Date. That will put me over 5 months. And at the rate things are going I don't even know if I'll get in for November. They seem to be making about a 7-8 day dent in the cases each month.

Ya, I don't know what is going on. We had our Senator inquire fo us and our lawyer look into it and Montreal has said nothing. I just don't get how people approved at the beginning of May got August dates but those of us approved just a couple weeks later have to wait an extra 3 months. The k-3 thing might be part of it. Before that option was closed all of us west coasters could deal with the Vancouver consulate - get a k-3 and then adjust status. Now we all have to go to montre...

Called the NVC today. They said they are still scheduling for October but they could not say anything specific about Canada or how the scheduling process works. Don't know why I keep calling. The lady was nice at least!

I know, it's unbearable. Do you know if they schedule the whole month at once or if it is normal for people to receive interview dates at different times. I'm wondering if the fact that shewolf and mtl got interviews mean we missed out. But there's was for OCT 8 so I think there is still hope. I might call the NVC today.

Usually the consulate sets up interviews during the first two weeks of the month. I wasn't expecting anything the last two weeks but now we might hear something soon.

Still waiting too. This is getting hard eh? Our case was completed May 26 so you're ahead of us by a couple weeks. I saw today that some of the k-1 interviews were set up for September - do you know if they set those ones up first? You should get in for September, hopefully you'll hear something soon!
