  1. hi! if you wish to register your daughter as a US citizen and get her a US passport, call the US embassy and they will give you the instructions for it. normally, they will divert you to Air 21 and then they will be sending you the documents for your daughter's US passport. If I remember it is about PHP 375 3 way.. Sending the documents to your home, bringin the documents to the US embassy and bringing the approved US passport to your home. Hope this helps.

  2. Hello everyone, my husband and I are currently debating which route to take to get myself and his kids into the US. We were married in the US 2 years ago and have been living together in the UK, he just recently returned to start the visa process. He's adamant that the k-3 is the way to go, but I'm not convinced.

I was on another website and they strongly advised against the k-3, and the more I read I can see why. It was just the second we heard it could get us their quicker- it appealed to us, but now im hearing some horror stories and would hate for us to end up in that situation. It's killing us being apart, more so for him being away from the kids.

We are not that well off and from what I can make out, the k-3 can be very expensive and a waste of time and effort.

Anyone going through it right now or recently been through it?

Hello. I am quite new here but I have asked my friend about the K-3 visa. It is not as scary as you think it is. It is better to apply for a K-3 because it gives you a chance to be in the US faster. Like it is said, if the I-130 arrives earlier or the same as the I-129f, the K visa application will be scrapped and it will be treated as an ordinary petition. I suggest you go for the K visa because if your I-130 is approved earlier, then you just do the IR-1. Tip: Do the I-129f ahead of time and once you receive the NOA1, send the form with the NOA1 immediately back to the USCIS.

  3. Passport stamps are sufficient evidence of meeting in person. He can file the petition now and get it approved but again, I advise spending some documented time together before the interview. There's a whole lot of issue mixing in this thread. You don't need photos together as evidence of meeting. Those are for evidence of a bona fide relationship. Treat these as separate issues. Evidence of meeting MUST be included with the petition. Evidence of bona fides CAN wait until the interview and CAN be from a trip or trips that occur AFTER the petition is filed.

Marrying in the Philippines takes at least two weeks, (not including the honeymoon) so plan accordingly if that's the route you plan to take.

I maybe new here but here's what I have to say. You NEED PICTURES to show that you have seen each other personally at the same time it can prove that you have an on-going relationship. Other documents like phone bills, chat messages, these are to prove of your existing relationship and it is genuine. Also, I would rather pay a considerable sum to do my paper works than to do it on my own and would regret it after it is denied. I seeked assistance and they got my visa for my fiance in considerable time of 8 months. No hassle from us because all paperworks were done by them. http://bit.ly/cmnHiZ

  4. wow i am in the same situation i am a fresh graduate have no work experience, i am the american citizen and my fiance is Filipino. I read that a co sponsor doesnt work well with fiance visas. since ive already said i am a fresh graduate, i have no income tax returns to show( i went to school in the philippines and am moving back this month)... what is the best route for me? can i get a job then file, or do i need to have income tax returns? any advice. thanks

you need to have a stable job and must show that you have sufficient amount of money to financially support yourself and your fiance when she is already there. you can get an assistance like I did to my fiance. We had no hassle on her fiance visa. check there link. http://bit.ly/cmnHiZ

  5. ok, thanks, i just talked with someone that is involve on the civilian side of helping the Govt write the policies, this is what she said, "on the bottom of the 4 page form that you get from the local USCIS there are defined as follows:

    1st page white ( (1) ident. )

    2nd page green ( (2) Rec. Br. )

    3rd page pink ( (3) C )

    4th page yellow ( (4) Consulate )

this is what i was told i can do... Make 4 copies of the G_325A per each packet. label each page @ the bottom left.

the other solution is to just put one original copy in & when you are called in for your interview, i was told that then you can make more copies because all they need is one @ the time of the application. i hope this helps someone

It is best to seek assistance for your papers. I have no idea what to do when filing the k-1 visa for my girl. I seeked a friend to help me and he assist me on what to do. It was hassle free and there are no worries for the visa application. Now, my girlfriend has her visa and she is just waiting for me to pick her and we will both be going to the US. http://bit.ly/cmnHiZ

  6. Thanks for all the replies..

We might as well give it a try.. She is currently in second year college, that means she would be enrolled as junior next year by the time she would come over if and only if she would be granted a visa. She could prove that my family could support her perhaps by showing some assets of my parents in the Philippines.. My father could support her trip if that's the evidence they need..

I am keeping my fingers cross..

Hey just wanted to assist. If she is a student, better get a letter from the school that she is on a vacation and will return to continue her studies. Then show money from her parents or siblings to finance her stay in the US. Check the link for more info. http://bit.ly/bnLA1U

  7. My parents wanted to visit me from the philippines so they should apply for a tourist visa, what are the requirements they need to submit and my requirements too such as bank fund and asset titles?

Also, i want to file for a petition for them?is it okay to file a tourist visa while waiting for the petition visa?can i file it same time?what are the requirements we need both to submit?

    thank you

HI! I got my girlfriend before a US tourist visa. It wasn't easy because we had to prove that she has to return to her country and has no intention of residing here in the US. I got a friend who can help you on your question. My girlfriend is now with me and planning to marry her next month. Here's the link of my friend. http://bit.ly/cmnHiZ

  8. This is my situation...

I have a daughter and she was in the US with my lawful husband (both green card holder) since last year. My lawful hubby and I had been together for almost 15 years but we're not married bec of his petitioned. We have a plan to get married soon but I am longing and miss my daughter and I want to see her this coming December. Should I apply for a tourist visa? Is it better to tell them that I want to visit my daughter? What is the best reasons for my tourist? Or should I go for vacation with my cousins invitation in SF together with my sick uncle then drive to my daughter's location. What will I do?

    Please help me on this.

    Thank you.

    God bless!

HI. On your situation, you must disclose the reason of your visit to the US. you need to show that you will return to your country like I did to my girlfriend before. We showed several documents to prove of her return to the Phil. Then afterwhich, she got a visa after 3 weeks. The interview schedule was quite long that time. Then after that I bought her a ticket an she went here in Cali then after. http://bit.ly/bnLA1U
