  1. Im looking at your timeline which shows that on Jul. 1, they cancelled the visa w/o prejudice and are sending it back to Washington. So does this mean that after they approve it during the interview, they can still deny later???? Any experience on this VJers?

today i was with my fiancee at embassy . thank god we got approved already , but just i see people here say some thing about they got a pink slip , my quiz is :

1 ) what the pink slip mean ?

2 ) i see my case in a pink file , does the mean some thing bad or good ? or its just a file ?

thanks alot frindes any answer will be appreciated

  2. Smoking Pot/Weed/Green/Marijuana/MaryJane/Left Handed Cigs is a Major Problem

    Smoking Tobacco - No Problem

I figured. I was just wondering why they only asked her the question, "Do you smoke?" when smoking tobacco is not even a ground for inadmissibility.

I think what they should ask over there is "have you taken drugs or are you an alcoholic?" since these are the more material questions

  3. ..i dont know if its needed..i think it doesnt matter if the petitioner is there..as long as you have all the supporting ducoments then its fine..:)

    I figured...

Does anyone know if the interview is in a room or do they just stand outside the glassed cubicle? Also, if the petitioner is present, can he/she be beside the fiance during the interview?

  4. I was just wondering, how much would it help for the petitioner to join the fiance during the interview in USEM Manila? I am still debating on whether to go to the Philippines to accompany her and her interview is next week.

We have been dating for almost 7 years and have so many documents showing our relationship. I even sent her a letter from the church where we will get married and the reception venue contract showing that I already paid a deposit.

  5. During the medical exam, my fiance was asked if she smoked and she said, "yes, occasionally." She clarified that this refers to cigarette smoking. At her immunization the next day, they asked her the same question again and she gave the same answer. She was never asked whether she took drugs or drank alcohol.

Is admitting to occasional smoking a problem?

  6. I got a letter from NVC about 3 weeks ago that they sent the file to the USEM. Was able to schedule an interview appointment using the MNL number but my fiance hasn't received the USEM letter yet. My fiance already did her medicals and her interview is coming up in a week. Assuming she doesn't get the USEM letter, can she go to the interview with just the email interview confirmation from the call center or is she required to present the USEM letter? Any experience on this, guys? Thanks!
